We buy this all the time when making chili. Buying this canned saves a lot of time and it still has a great flavor with a nice little kick. It’s definitely affordable and I would recommend this to anyone in search for an addition to a meal with something like this.

I bought a can of Original Rotel Diced Tomatoes and Green Chiles three days ago to make original Rotel Dip. Terrible! It was nothing but chunks of tomatoes- no diced green chiles, no liquid, no other flavor except tomato! Finished making the dip but it wasn't very good. Never had this problem before but yuck!

I’ve been using Ro-Tel for years~it’s absolutely delicious 😃 It costs a little bit more than “plain” chopped tomatoes, but you get what you pay for, and Ro-Tel is worth every penny 👍👍 You’ll notice the difference the first time you make a dish with it and you’ll never turn back!!

Soups, stews, Mexican dishes, spaghetti sauce, chili, you name it...Rotel can go in it. I always have a can of it in my pantry for whatever I decide may need it. You literally can't go wrong using it...there's no wrong way to do it. I will always have it stocked!

Ro-tel is the perfect addition to any queso recipe. With a block of velveta and a can or two of Ro-tel you can leave it in the slow-cooker for couple hours and have the perfect dip. I like to add seasoned ground beef and a few more spices, but in the end it wouldn't be complete without Ro-tel.

We have bought Rotel for many years and over the last 1 to 2 years I have gotten cans of original with tomatoes only which was very bland. I gave also gotten cans of medium that were overly hot. It is very disappointing when every fan is now a surprise in what you will get. Please hire your QC department back.

Ro-tel is a staple in our kitchen. We almost always have a jar because it's useful for so many things. Need a hit of spice? Add some Ro-tel! We usually use it to make classic Ro-tel dip (a can of Ro-tel and some velveeta, can also add ground beef) and a can always goes into chili as well. It also makes great salsa chicken! 

I can handle a little spice but anything super hot will hurt me on the way out. I use rotel original in my chicken tort soup to add a little spice. Been making it for 6 years twice a month. Everyone's mouth was on fire last night. Even my husband who likes spicy was like wow this is hot. Quality control needs to be sampling these batches and maybe diluting them with another to decrease spice in original. I understand peppers can be tricky but is there taste tests once prepared to ensure it doesn't get too hot?

Rotel is not what it used to be! Very few green chilis and too much ‘peel/skin’ from tomatoes. Sometimes it is not flavorful at all. I have been noticing this for over a year, so I wanted to post this review hoping someone at Rotel will pay attention.

Rotel makes my cooking taste better. I always keep a couple of cans in my pantry. It is very affordable and I add it to my soup to make it tasty. There is nothing that I would do to change the product. I will buy this over and over again. Try it because you will love it
