Bought a can at the store yesterday and always had excellent expieriences before opened the can and poured it out it was just juice and a few green chili’s. Absolutely no tomatoes in the can whatsoever. It was already mixed with other ingredients so luckily I had another can to add to top it off.

I really liked the taste these tomatoes added to my tacos and chili. However 7 cans in the case of 12 that I purchased were dented. I ended up throwing 5 cans away because they were damaged so severely. The case itself was sealed and in good shape when I purchased it. Under other circumstances, I would buy this product again; however, in light of the fact that I had to throw almost half the cans away, it is just too expensive.

I opened my can Original RO-TEL as as other had fount out, One very smallll piece of green chili ( not Plural , green chilies) ONE small piece. I could have brought a can of tomatoes and a can of green chilies, some spices and made my own. Another company sold to big business and flavors take back seat to profits.

The last few years the quality of rotel has gone down hill! I eat rotel like salsa on a weekly basis, I had Rotel to almost all My meals but in the last few years I’m not sure what’s going to come out of each can! Sometimes I get a can full of chilis it’s to hit to eat others it’s just tomatoes with no chili’s and then some it’s a can full of liquid with just chilis!!! What’s going on??’ To bad there is not a place i can share the pictures, but totally disappointed

Rotel is so versatile. We use it with tacos in ground meat, we use it with cheese to make queso, we use it with pico for freshness and we use it when making chicken stew. It has lots of great fresh tomato flavor with a hint of spice. It’s not spicy but they do have a hot version which is also very good. I keep this on stock at my house. Highly recommend.

Rotel is a big hit in our house we love every flavor we try. We add it to lots of recipes- chilli, stew, soups, chicken enchiladas, dips. We can have hot or mild. It's affordable for us. My family loves it. I tell other people ways I use it. We will always buy.

Can of refried beans Can of Rolel original. Brick of cream cheese ,softened and mixed with a pkg of taco mix. Pkge finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese Sour cream sm container Chopped black olives. Chopped green onions Layer first 3 items in a casserole dish...bake at 350 for about 15 minutes. Just enough time for the cream cheese to melt and spread. Remove from oven and allow to cool for a more taco style. Or immediately layer rest of items for a hot dip. Serve with tortillas or tortilla chips.

I don't why some folks are saying Rotel isn't as good as it used to be. We haven't had a bad one yet. My wife and i put a can in almost everything we make. We use hot or mild in dips, chili, tortilla soup, mac n cheese, and various pasta dishes. Keep doing what you're Rotel, we love it!

So I’ve used the Rotel original tomatoes and chilies to create a delicious tasting queso dip for a family get together. We used this and a store brand block cheese to create the dip and used tortilla chips to dip in it. The vegetables used in the Rotel tasted fresh and crisp for being a canned vegetable product and will definitely try different flavors!!

I absolutely love Rotel! It’s so good in Tex-max dishes as well as the 3 ingredient dip!! (One pack cream cheese, one pack of cooked Ground pork sausage and one can Rotel in a crock pot until nice and creamy - eat with tortilla chips!!) the tomatoes taste great and have a really good spice level to them!
