I use rotel in several recipes and you just can't replace it. I used it in homemade salsa, sausage dips, soups, etc. It adds great flavor to each of these recipes. Depending what I am making I sometimes use other types of rotel, for example I will use rotel with habaneros to make a recipe spicier.

I have been using the original Ro-tel for years. I always keep it stocked in my pantry. When I finally ran out I bought more & just realized… to my horror that it now contains cilantro! For the love of God WHY? The can still says Original. You already have a flavor called Lime & Cilantro. There are a lot of people who do not like cilantro & there are some people, like myself, who actually get a soapy taste when eating it. Also, by adding this ingredient, it changes the taste of all the recipes that call for Ro-tel where cilantro does not belong. Who thought this was a good idea? Go back to the Original recipe & lose the nasty cilantro.

This is a brand I have used for a while!I use it to make my famous cheese dip, my vegetable beef soup, Mexican chicken and any other recipe that needs a little spice in it! It has the perfect amount of spice to it and adds a great flavor to any cheese dip or other food item!

this is so good mixed with melted cheese to make a queso dip! I have also used it for crock pot meals to add flavor and a little bit of spice. it’s so good! I recommend it to everyone looking for something to add to their pantry for some spice and flavor.

Always use these in a dip I make for parties: 1 tube breakfast sausage, 1 block cream cheese, and 1 can Rotel. It's a crowd-pleaser and Rotel adds just the right amount of zest to the dip. I make a fair amount of Mexican food, I need to remember to try Rotel in those recipes.

I just opened a can of this and it was almost all liquid with a few pieces of chili. I usually use this in my soups but today I had to substitute store brand equivalent that my neighbor gave me. It was as good if not better and the can actually contained what it said it contained. I'll be going with that option from here on out.
