Why buy Pam?

We use Pam for just about all food preparation. Most of all for the health value as it doesn't add calories to our food, it has no aftertaste and makes clean up easy. I couldn't imagine cooking without it and the large size double pack means a better value.

A splurge.

I'm glad I can be anonymous other wize I'd never confess what I use Pam spray for, and it's NOT for my baking use.. I buy chicken thighs, the most flavorful part of any chicken. When they package the thighs there's a lot of extra skin hanging from each thigh so I use my kitchen shears and trim the extra skin and fat from each thigh. I then place all the trimmings in an aluminum pie tin I spray with PAM and bake it along with the trimmed thighs. I then feed the cooked trimmings to some feral cats. The chicken skin is easy to remove from the pie tin and I don't get any splash back from the otherwize stuck~on skin. I even dribble some of the warm liquid chicken fat grease on the dry cat food i also put out. I do pour all the remaining chicken drippings in a small 8 X 8 pan and refrigerate it until the fat rises to the top and solidifies so I can separate it from the yummy broth that goes in to home made chicken soup. This is my one and only kitchen vise.

Great product to create a non-stick surface!

I have been using Pam since it's debut - way back... Original Pam is perfect to use with any recipe since it has a neutral flavor. Don't knock me - but I even use it to "grease" up to poles on our bird feeders to help deter the squirrels and raccoons from climbing. I don't worry about poisoning the environment using it.

NOT JUST FOR FRYING PANS

I use this to continually treat my grill after every use. Oil treatment is highly recommended by grill manufacturer for steel grills. Slows down the rust process. Not to mention it great to keep food from sticking to grill and pan surfaces. Contributes to easy clean up greatly.
