I've been a fan of MuscleTech Whey Protein Chocolate Powder for about 8 years. At my last in-store pickup, I noticed a label design change, and didn't notice it now says Grass Fed. My local Sam's Club isn't carrying this right now, so I decided to order online. That's when I saw the reviews about the new Grass Fed and how bad it tastes. I checked my container, which is almost empty, to see if it was GF. Yep, it is. What are these people talking about? It still tastes great! BUT!!!, over the years, I've modified how I mix this product in my milk. I use a 20oz shaker and I mix it THE NIGHT BEFORE with 3/4 filled with milk and 1 scoop of powder and shake it up. This ensures the product will be completely dissolved the next morning, at which time I add a few ice cubes and top off the milk. Nice and cold and creamy! I hated drinking a fresh mix and getting a clump of powder in my mouth. My only “soft” complaint is wondering why the scooper size keeps changing. Not a big deal. So, mix the night before and enjoy the nice chocolate taste the next morning!

The micros are good, although It could use a larger protein profile. Knowing the breakdown of the BCAAs would be helpful. The consistency is fine, although maybe a little chalkier than it could be. I tried the chocolate and would be interested in seeing what, if there are any, other flavors tastes like.

Let me tell you, this is one of the best flavors I have ever had. It doesn't have that nasty after taste or the gritty feel at all. It was thick and tasted just like milk chocolate brownies. So this stuff won't last long here lol. It will be gone before the one month mark that's for sure! Seriously, if you love protein shakes, drink this! You will absolutely love the flavor and the full feeling. I will be buying this again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This protein is great. Many other brands are very grainy and will not mix up quickly. My family tried this with water, milk and plant milk. It tasted great every time. It is also college student taste approved, my son loved it! The chocolate taste does not taste like plastic, cardboard or tangy like some other powders do. We will keep this stocked in our house.

I use it in the morning as a meal replacement and also as a muscle recovery after weight training four times a week. I would recommend this.

The taste is very good, not chalky as some I have had in the past. I would recommend mixing with milk, it is a bit creamier. The carbs are a little high but are manageable.
