I got one for Christmas. Loved all the features. Unfortunately, six months in, it quit working. A call to their help line and a 20 minute video chat, it was determined that it needed replacement. They shipped a new one, which I got in two days (awesome). Five months later, that one died, too. I threw it in the garbage and bought a different brand.

Just sharing this bc I've owned this 'Ninja' with the aluminum pot since it came out, maybe 3 years ago? It was a lot more expensive, but it's paid for itself in great black, smooth coffee. This thing is a gem. Makes single cup and full pot as evenly rich & delicious. Makes 8oz, 12 oz (Xl) & 20oz (travel). The 'Rich' button really makes a Bold flavor. Turns Folgers into French roast. Even the Specialty button make a perfect 4oz espresso with Dunkin donuts, Lavazza or Cafe Bustelo. Used frother when we 1st got it, and it was Pro level foam but now it collects dust. The Reusable filter easily rinses clean. Occasionally scrub it with a brush. Never been in a dishwasher. Never ran it on 'Clean' mode bc it's never notified to me to do so, and as they say "If it ain't broke, don't mess with it" All I do is use a 'Waterdrop' faucet filter to add water. Clean filter & reservoir with a bottle brush every time it runs low before I refill. It's the simplest appliance with the highest satisfaction quotient in the kitchen.

This Ninja is hard to use, coming from a simple Zojirushi drip machine (very good and lasted us for 10+ years until I recently broke the glass carafe). What if I want just another cup, which is just one more spoon of coffee and 1 cup of water? Not possible with the Ninja machine. Coffee is not that hot. We use it with our thermal mugs and found that we have to always heat the cream or we would end up with luke warm coffee. Never happened before with other drip machines. Maybe this Ninja machine could only impress those who have Keurig but not us. Imagine piping hot coffee from Starbucks. This Ninja coffee maker doesn't come close to that temp. Not sure how it could extract coffee if the water temp is too low. Maybe that's why it uses a lot of coffee comparing to other drip machines?

We purchased this one as a gift because we love ours so much. My wife and I enjoy lattes and strong cups of coffee and the Specialty and Rich brew options give us what we want. My parents kept commenting on ours so I purchased one for them and it replaced two coffee makers they were using.

1st one I purchased, steam coming out everywhere! It created so much condensation that droplets of water were running down sides of coffee maker and around crafe to the warmer. Called Ninja. They said yes this has been a. comon problem. Still awful customer service as far as communication goes. They reassured me the 2nd one would not have the same problem. I just got second one today, guess what? Condensation everywhere. Again. So disappointed! I expected better. Also tried to upload a picture many times here and could not do so.

We have had the Ninja Coffee Maker for over six months. I don't consider us to be coffee nerds in any way shape or form, but we love this coffee maker. Although we do not use it very often, the frother works great. Just heat your creamer in the microwave for ~30 seconds prior to frothing. My wife only drinks 1-2 cups a day and does not like her coffee as strong as I do, so she will usually make hers a cup at a time, I make a half pot and we are both happy. Hard to beat the price when it is on sale too.

I bought this product a few months ago at the recommendation of a friend. It worked well and I liked the features until it just stopped staying on one day. We have called multiple times since it has manufacturers warranty and Ninja customer service never answers no matter what time or day we call and we are left on hold for hours. I guess its just time to get a different brand of coffeepot even though this is still new as we have done all the at home troubleshooting and nothing works. Save yourself a headache and get a Keurig or Cuisanart since their customer service is great.

best coffee , keeps it nice and hot
