Got this on the 4th and the chemical smell is still very strong. It’s been giving me a bad headache to sleep on it. I even put it out on saw horses in the yard hoping the sunshine would help but it was still strong.

I purchased this thinking it would be a quick fix… opened on Thursday.. On Saturday it still had 6 areas that has not expanded. I will return this item.

This is one of the best purchases I have made in a long time. I bought a new mattress (firm) and it was so very uncomfortable. Ordered this mattress topper and am so happy with it. It really is like sleeping on a cloud now. Every night is a very restful night with this mattress topper. I would highly recommend it.

I had bought a firm mattress for my new house and they were way too hard. I bought one of these and it became those most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I then bought another for the guest room, and I have had positive feedback from company as well.

I bought this two days ago. My wife had to have it, and wanted to put this on our 12 year old mattress. This was a innerspring pillow top in king size. It was 14” deep. I thought it would be better to get a new mattress. I wound up buying a Serra sleep to go from Sams. We both like the mattress, I will do a review on the mattress there. My wife felt like she was missing the pillow top feel, and a friend recommended a topper like this one. I did the research before buying the mattress, and we had decided on this one, so this decision had already been made. After using the new mattress, my wife still wanted this topper. I went and got this, on sale $30 off. I got it Home and was surprised it was 2 pieces, I must have missed it somewhere. Not a problem, just an fyi. The memory foam is just a bare slab of and off white memory foam at 3” thick and about the size of your bed. It’s about an inch larger all the way around the bed, sides and length. At least this was my experience and I had seen that in a couple reviews. The actual pad part is like a fitted sheet. This one felt awesome on the top, it will cover about 21” it looks like. So this should go over a 16 or 17” mattress. The pad has a small amount of foam and fiber fill. The truth in in the feeling for you. To lay on it, I definitely sunk down into this thing. More so when the pad isn’t used. Not a really bad thing, it actually felt good, this is wrapping you up like a marshmallow. It seemed to give support, while being really soft at the same time. I would think a back sleeper, side sleeper, stomach, or combo, like myself could do well with this. I am thinking this would probably work better for us on a firm, non pillow top innerspring mattress. Your mileage may vary. The bottom line, I returned it today. That’s the good news, I felt like this thing was very well made, and with a 10 year warranty, the quality is there. It just wasn’t for us. I could go either way, but happy wife, happy life. i did feel like it was too much on top of the memory foam mattress we just bought. The cons for us, it slept hotter than the mattress, it felt like my old mattress, which slept hot. It was just too much of a sinking feeling. Also the sheets are an issue. I had bout 2 $100 sheet sets recently, got the deep pocket ones, and they still were too small. The extra 4 inches was too much. The best thing is that sams gave a refund with no questions about it. We got to buy it, planning to keep it and have the ultimate bed and wound up returning it the next day. If your thinking your pains need a new bed, I would try this. The quality is very good.

I have been using the Serta 4 inch memory foam mattress topper for many years. I bought them for my sons dorm bed too. I am currently moving and will be leaving my king size bed with topper to my son and daughter in law (they are super happy) I’m downsizing to a queen sized mattress. The best thing about it is I know I don’t have to go spend a ton on a mattress because I have seen this Serta mattress topper turn the oldest, hardest mattress into a sleeping heaven!! They have saved me thousands of dollars on new mattresses, just by adding the Serta topper to the old mattress. I will never own a bed without this topper. Looking for a nice gift to give someone?? This mattress topper will last them for many years AND upgrade their old mattress tremendously!

First order the mattress was defective. A section in middle of mattress on egg crate side had sharp edges. It appeared foam melted then cooled resulting in sharp edges. Foam peeled apart too. Took myself and son in law to get it rolled up and back in box. Sam's arranged pickup. Replacement seems ok. Find it comfortable and cool so far.

I had purchased a 3" memory foam topper from Sams Club several years aago. It was time to replace it. After reading many online reviews, I purchased this Serta 4" topper from Sams Club. It comes with 3" of memory foam and a 1" fiber filled cover for it. The foam in this topper is different than my old topper. It is not as heavy, firm and dense as my old one was. At first I was leery because it seemed different. This new Serta one has a softer breatheable foam and it is easy to turn over and is very comfortable. Our mattress is extremely hard and you must use a topper in order to be comfortable. It comes in a box and the topper is vaccuum packaged into a solid square that feels like concrete!! However, once you remove the outer packaging the foam begins to breathe and expand. BE SURE to read the directions first about unpackaging the product. Mine only took a few hours to totally expand however, I left is lay on the bed for the rest of the day before I put sheets on it and I slept on it that night. I have slept on it only a few nights but I am very happy with this purchase. It is much more comfortable than my old one was. I am so happy I purchased it.

This mattress is not for everyone... i got it to buy me some time to get a new mattress. It's really a good 4'.. now when i unboxed it i was a little concern but after it sat for a minute to breath it worked well. It comes with a pad cover because it really help shapes the pad. Now, this ia truly a memory foam so when you lay on it, it sinks the body in. I must say that this thing has kept me in bed because i was so comfortable and did not want to get up. Now I'm a side sleeper and all though it's really comfortable my head and body is not inlined and I'm sure i will be sore over time. I plan to return it because of that, also do it doe the extra 4' my sheets really don't fit all the way over it and the actual mattress, it also raises how how your mattress is due to extra 4'. Overall it's definitely comfortable and makes you feel snug but since I'm a side sleeper and I'm not inlined, i rather return now rather than later.. Fyi.. if you try and return this 1 the store will not take it back so you have to mail it back which they give you label but it will NOT fit back on the box so you will have to pay for a new box so it can go in🤦🏾‍♀️$30 to send it back via FedEx. They can send you something via bulged out but you can't ship it back like that... so beware before buying.

I bought this because I bought a mattress in a box & it felt okay but I wanted to feel like i’m almost sinking in my bed, bought a featherbed before this and it went flat! So I decided to try this mattress pad read all the reviews and debated, finally bought it, I couldn’t love it more, my boyfriend came straight home and fell asleep within 5 mins! DEF BUY IF YOU WANT SOMETHING SOFT!!!
