Couldn't sleep on this. It made our bed horribly uncomfortable and extremely warm. The box claims "sleep better tonight" and "all night cool and dry" but this product didn't live up to either of those claims. Tried to return to Sam's Club and they wouldn't take it back even though there is nothing clearly posted in store or on the receipt that there are no returns allowed. A huge waste of money on a product that I would give negative star ratings if I could.

It's been 72 hours since unpacking this topper and it STILL has not filled out from its tight packaging. The far end, which was the end on the most inside/center of the package roll is still squished hard flat. Has it taken anyone else longer than 72 hours for it to take proper shape?

Purchase this as a gift from samsclub.com. did not get a response for 2 weeks then an email saying to reorder. So I did. I've been received an email saying that it had been shipped in two days later I received another email saying it had been shipped. Guess what I got 2. The packaging was atrocious. The bottom of one of the boxes was completely unsealed I'm surprised that it arrived intact. The boxes were flimsy. However, the actual product appears to be what the person I bought it for wanted. I doubt I will ever order anything from Sam's club.com again.

I purchased this after buying my adjustable bed from sams club it’s a king that uses 2 twin xl mattress.. I read the reviews before buying and read the question does this topper work on adjustable beds manufacturers replied that it does so I bought 2... ugh every morning I have to strip my bed to put it back on the mattress it slips off my bed leaving it hanging off the side of my bed.. I almost slipped off my bed when getting up during the night to use bathroom ..also when adjusting my bed at night to watch tv this mattress pad slips down and messes up the sheets! I even gave the zippered mattress cover on it .. also tried adding another mattress pad cover to help secure it .. nope epic fail! So no it does not work well with a king with 2 twin xl mattresses adjustable beds ... not sure if I can return ... but will give it a try ..

We have had this exact mattress pad for our King bed for at least 5 years, and it's wonderful! So, I ordered one for our nephew who's off to college. After we got the outer sleeve washed and ready to put on the foam part, we discovered that the foam was very discolored - it didn't smell but it was very dark yellow along the edges. YUCK! Sam's customer service told me I had to reach out to Serta; however, when I objected and reminded them that this is not a mattress, they gave me a return authorization and are sending me a label. Question is...how in the world do I get this thing back in the box? And now I have to start at square one to find another mattress topper QUICK!!

I bought this memory foam topper for a very firm bed at the cabin – slept on it a couple nights a week for several months. It is very soft and provides little support. Be aware that it’s a 3-inch memory foam pad covered with a 1-inch quilted fabric cover that compacts to a very thin layer. The topper does very little (nothing, really) to enhance comfort and sleep. I was hoping for more from a Serta product – very disappointed. Definitely not worth the $150 price.

I had originally bought this to put on an air mattress when I was out of town and desperate for good sleep. Though I'd tried other mattress toppers, I just wasn't sleeping well. I resisted buying this one because of the price, but ultimately, I gave in and boy am I glad I did! Upon laying on it for the first time, I was completely sold, hook line and sinker. Slept like a baby the rest of the trip with no issues! I took it home and we put it on our admittedly very bad mattress. Again, slept like a baby! Finally ditched the bad mattress and decided to use our guest room mattress - which we ultimately found too firm for us, so out came this mattress topper and we've been sleeping well ever since. Now I am going to purchase a twin-size for a cot I have so that no matter where I go, I've got comfortable sleeping, thanks to this amazing mattress topper. I tell people that it is almost like a mattress on its own! Worth every penny!

This topper does NOT come with a quilted cover that STRETCHES to fit up to a 17 inch mattress. This comes with two pieces: one, a foam piece (3" thick), and two, a zippered quilted topper (1" thick) that you fit the foam piece inside, for a total of 4" thick. The bottom of the zippered quilted topper has a no slip surface to hold it in place on your mattress. We will see if it works. Whoever wrote this description simply copied the description of those toppers that come with a foam piece and fitted sheet to hold it in place.

SMELL: Yes, it has a chemical smell. It took 2 days in a ~90 degree garage for the smell to fade to almost nothing. It was a 2 car garage and within few hours the entire garage had a strong smell of the foam...so, if you can, air it outside of your home. DENSITY: I accurately weighed and measured the foam. The density is 2.74 lbs which is considered "low density". Don't expect to press your hand into the foam and have that image stay for more than a second or two. If you want that kind of foam, buy a latex topper of at least 6lb density. QUILTED COVER: No complaints. It's looks nice, it's soft and had no smell after washing it. It adds very little in the way of padding. FOAM COMFORT: This was for a 160lb person and it met their needs. The heavy parts of your body will compress the foam flat while the less heavy areas (neck) will receive gentle support. This is not a gel foam, so there is no cooling effect. It will retain heat rather than dissipating it; so plan on a few degrees warmer under the covers. SUMMARY: This a good quality, low density, foam product that will soften up a little too hard mattress.

We bought this for my daughter’s bed and she now has the comfiest bed in the house!
