We bought a new mattress recently and thought firm is what we wanted but it turned out to be too hard. This topper makes the bed comfortable.

The topper is well made but it moves around on the mattress even after putting a mattress pad over it to try to hold it in place.

its an OK mattress topper but omg the smell is unbearable. i returned and got a new one and the smell is the same
