Very comfortable. We bought two so far. One stays in place with no problem but the other slides on the mattress. I think it's better for a thicker mattress. Very comfortable. Even though the order instructions are numbered, read all the way through before you begin to avoid unpleasant expletives.

I bought this and returned it a week later. Good quality but it was a little hot and that was in the winter. Also gave me a little claustrophobia the way is hugged me. Also I have some neck issues, so while it let my shoulder sink in it kept my neck a little too bent while on my side and made my neck hurt. Not saying that it would be great for some but not great for me and my husband

Our non-pillowtop mattress was just too hard, causing aching lower back and too much tossing and turning. The Serta 4" memory foam is wonderful to sleep on, you settle into it and it supports you everywhere. Less pressure points in case you are a side sleeper.

We bought a one sided pillow top matress about 6 years ago for 1k+. We were experiencing dips in the bed since we could only rotate it 180 not flipping. Its an ugly thing to do to pay so much for a product that gets only half the life now. So we flipped the mattress and it was very hard but equally flat fresh start. We added the foam topper and pillow cover and its very lovely. The box it came in was not marked and only a sheet of paper that says serta on it so who knows it might be a knock off but it has done its job very well. Its been a few weeks and its comfy as a new mattress for only $200. It had a small oder the first night. And it sleeps a little warm as well but i still say 5 stars this is exactly what you need if you dont want to buy another mattress right away.

UNPACKING AND SETUP: It came in an easy-to-open box, the 3" foam rolled and tightly bound and the 1" padding packed underneath it. Instructions and warranty were enclosed. I laid the foam on top of the mattress and, with scissors, carefully cut away the outside plastic which covered the foam roll. The mattress unrolled naturally, I removed the protective sheet that was rolled with the foam, and within minutes the foam had expanded to the full 76x80 King size. ODOR: There was a slight, not unpleasant, odor at first. We let it air out for a few hours before putting it on the mattress. We had been concerned that we may not be able to sleep on it for a while, but that was not a problem. By mid afternoon the odor had subsided to the point that it was barely noticeable, and we put the pad on, tucked the skirt around the mattress, and made the bed. COMFORT AND SUPPORT: Very comfortable. We are sleeeping very well with this pad. Support is outstanding when lying on the back, and excellent when on one's side. My wife and I both have back issues - these did not go away just because we got a new topper, but we did sleep well and woke up with little pain. HEAT: Some toppers have garnered a lot of complaints because they got too hot at night. We did not feel any of this at all. Non-issue. QUALITY: Can't judge long-term quality yet, but it came flawless and seems to be well made. And yes, the pad is machine washable - instructions are on the pad tag. No regrets!

I debated for a while about buying this or getting a new mattress to replace our 7 year old Serta king. I bounced around all the beds in our house with each of children as newborns and toddlers, so when I came back to my bed it just seemed hard. Bought this and it is literally like sleeping on a cloud. The only cons is I wish it came with a zippered cover and you also have to use the sheets with deep pockets if putting on a pillow top mattress.

Bought it 2 weeks ago! Was waking up with stiff joints and back ache. Decided to buy a new mattress. Went on line, saw this for way less money and figured i would try it first. It arrived, opened it and put it on our mattress. It did have a chemically smell as stated in other reviews. Wasn't really surprised by it though, it's a giant chunk of foam! First night till now, sleeping like a baby! No joint pain! No back aches! Truly happy! Smell has dissipated over time, but it was never really terrible! Love it! Recommend it! Would buy it again!

Not really ready for a new mattress so we got this. Easy to put together and formed up really quick we like the pillow top topper. Perfect! it is heaven and with my deep mattress and sheet set it works nice and snug. I look forward to going to our bed each night. Cradles and I dont feel my husband turn which is a huge plus.

I bought this to replace a standard foam mattress topper that we have had for many years. This new topper is extremely comfortable. It feels like we are sleeping on a cloud, although we have a firm mattress. This is the perfect mattress topper for an air mattress. Adds a good bit of height and gives the air mattress some cushion. I’ve used it on both an air mattress (loved it) and on top of my regular mattress (not a fan). The foam gets very warm while sleeping when used on regular mattress. It’s comfy but almost too much cushion when used on a regular mattress. If you love a soft squishy bed, highly recommend! If you prefer some firmness, pass on this item.
