This 4” mattress topper will just about swallow you. It’s very soft foam and you sink in it. When sleeping on it, it is a struggle to roll over. You have to pull yourself up and out of the topper. It has a weird smell also. We are returning it.

My 7 year old was jealous of his sister's mattress topper, so I promised to buy him one. I bought the twin size for his bed. It's very comfy, there's no odor at all, and it expanded rapidly. We didn't end up using the included cover as I was able to get the mattress pad and the fitted sheet over the topper and his mattress with no difficulty. He said "I'm going to nap all day, baby!" (he hasn't napped since he was 2) and "Now I know why Sissy stays in her bed all day." I may buy one for my bed.

Brought this home, laid it out, let it expand come bed time it was time to try it. Laid down and instantly wanted to return it. It was so far from what I was used to. After sleeping good that night I decided to give it another night. Come the second night my body was getting used to the new level of comfort. It was like a shock to my body but once my body got use to the support, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I can’t get enough of this thing. I don’t want to get out of bed. My son absolutely loves it as well. He wants one for his room. I’m a 175lb make 5,”9. Point it, give it a few nights before you make decision your body will thank you. As far as heat, I don’t find this unit keeps my body any warmer than my regular mattress. This is a big deal for me as I couldn’t deal with being hit at night. I think the gel as well as the 1” foam topper helps with that. Happy I spent the extra money and got a Reliable brand.

We went to PCB for vacation and had to ask the owner of our VRBO what her secret was to the most comfortable bed ever! She told us about this topper. Needless to say all 3 of our families immediately got on SAMS and had this pillow top mattress topper sent to our houses for when we returned home! I highly recommend this topper to anyone that likes a soft bed. However the owner told us it works best if you have a more firm mattress. We LOVE it and feel like we’re sleeping at a 5-star resort every night! A must buy! (:

I bought this two days ago. My wife had to have it, and wanted to put this on our 12 year old mattress. This was a innerspring pillow top in king size. It was 14” deep. I thought it would be better to get a new mattress. I wound up buying a Serra sleep to go from Sams. We both like the mattress, I will do a review on the mattress there. My wife felt like she was missing the pillow top feel, and a friend recommended a topper like this one. I did the research before buying the mattress, and we had decided on this one, so this decision had already been made. After using the new mattress, my wife still wanted this topper. I went and got this, on sale $30 off. I got it Home and was surprised it was 2 pieces, I must have missed it somewhere. Not a problem, just an fyi. The memory foam is just a bare slab of and off white memory foam at 3” thick and about the size of your bed. It’s about an inch larger all the way around the bed, sides and length. At least this was my experience and I had seen that in a couple reviews. The actual pad part is like a fitted sheet. This one felt awesome on the top, it will cover about 21” it looks like. So this should go over a 16 or 17” mattress. The pad has a small amount of foam and fiber fill. The truth in in the feeling for you. To lay on it, I definitely sunk down into this thing. More so when the pad isn’t used. Not a really bad thing, it actually felt good, this is wrapping you up like a marshmallow. It seemed to give support, while being really soft at the same time. I would think a back sleeper, side sleeper, stomach, or combo, like myself could do well with this. I am thinking this would probably work better for us on a firm, non pillow top innerspring mattress. Your mileage may vary. The bottom line, I returned it today. That’s the good news, I felt like this thing was very well made, and with a 10 year warranty, the quality is there. It just wasn’t for us. I could go either way, but happy wife, happy life. i did feel like it was too much on top of the memory foam mattress we just bought. The cons for us, it slept hotter than the mattress, it felt like my old mattress, which slept hot. It was just too much of a sinking feeling. Also the sheets are an issue. I had bout 2 $100 sheet sets recently, got the deep pocket ones, and they still were too small. The extra 4 inches was too much. The best thing is that sams gave a refund with no questions about it. We got to buy it, planning to keep it and have the ultimate bed and wound up returning it the next day. If your thinking your pains need a new bed, I would try this. The quality is very good.

My husband and I thought this topper would be great for our new mattress but it isn't working out. For over a month now we have been waiting for this awful smell to dissipate....but it hasn't and now the smell is making me ill. We have tried airing our room out but that doesn't help. The smell has gotten into our pillows,sheets and comforter. I'm very disappointed because we don't know what to do and the topper has become increasingly HOT! We need HELP!! A $179 is alot of money to be going through this agony.

It slides around. Mine slides toward the foot of the bed, leaving a space between it and the headboard that my pillow falls partially into causing neck pain. It is not as firm/comfortable as I was expecting. Lastly, and biggest issue - I wake up sweaty constantly.

Bought mine 2 days ago, fully expanded within minutes of taking out of the box, and was ready to be used as soon as we put the cover on it. My wife is a restless sleeper, first time in 22 years I watched her sleep in one position almost through the whole night (got caught up binge-watching the Mentalist :-). If course, she had to ruin it by putting an extra sheet on the cover, which made it counterproductive, but even with it she woke up actually relaxed. The best thing is - after the initial "You spend money on things that don't work as advertised" speech, she hasn't said it again yet, which is impressive with our household standards, haha. Money well spent!

We bought this over a month ago. After just a few days of use, my husband and I both experienced greatly increased back pain. It is way too soft. No support at all. In addition, it slides all over the bed. I have to remove the bottom sheet and adjust it each time I make the bed. It's super heavy, so that is a very difficult task.

We love soft. Also need support. We invested in a great matress almost 30 years ago. It is still great. We added a Feather top and mattress cover a few years ago. It was great for the first day or so, then flat. This answers that and also no real movement , makes it perfect.
