This coffee used to taste really good. It was my go to coffee pod, after trying several different kinds. But my most recent order of this coffee has tasted bitter and acidic. Even cream and sugar doesn't make it drinkable. I won't be ordering it again.

I have tried many types of K-cups but this is my favorite by far. Smooth, rich flavor that gives a kick. This is the first bold flavor blend that I enjoyed. I do tend to get a few grounds in my cup but I can usually get them out. If you need a jolt in the morning, or mid-afternoon this is the one for you.

I have had a Keurig Vue and used The Donut Shop Vue cups. The aroma and flavor was wonderful! Now I have the K Cup brewer and the The Donut Shop K Cups do not smell or taste anything like the Vue version. I cannot even get a good cup when making a small cup of coffee. No flavor, no aroma. No reason to buy it anymore.

This was my first cup of Keurig ever. The brewing was wonderful- very aromatic, clean and bold. I have to say on first sip my brain said OH NO THIS IS GOING TO BE STRONG AND BITTER. I was delighted to find it wasn't at all. It was bold coffee flavor with zero bitterness or that burnt flavor I had come to expect. Delicious.

I have been addicted to one brand of coffee for years and upon finding out that they were finally offering this brand in kcups after a long wait, I made the plundge and bought a Platinum machine for myself. After trying this coffee and the other brand, the other brand will be left for guests because I'm hooked on these!!! Perfect, perfect, perfect!!! This coffee is so smooth with no bite. Thank you!!!

This is my favorite K-Cup of all time. I have tried many bold roasts and this is by far the best I've found. I love it in the morning because of it's bold aroma and balanced taste. If you prefer a darker roast without the acidic properties of other brands, this is the coffee for you!

I keep a variety of k-cups on hand and usually have a Donut Shop at least once a day. I'm not a fan of acidity / citrus notes in my coffee. This is a true medium roast with a smooth flavor. I like it well enough that I also drink the decaf Donut Shop later in the evening.

Why did the recipe change? The coffee in the new packaging is horrible. I used to love drinking this coffee before the change. I have switched brands and will not ever go back until the recipe is changed back to the original. In fact I will never purchace any brand by Green Mountian until the original recipe is restored for Original Donut Shop medium extra bold.

I tried this at a friend's home and this is the coffee that made me realize a Keurig machine was not a bad idea. Coming from the most popular coffee chain gave me doubts about quick brewing but the convenience is unsurpassable. Donut Shop Extra Bold isn't everything I've dreamed of but it is a good, smooth alternative when consumed immediately (don't let it sit too long or it will go bitter).

Not usually a coffe drinker since I am used to my friends drinking burnt, paint-peeler coffee. This was the first coffee I tried in my machine and so far still my favorite. It has a nutty, roasted flavor without any burnt flavor. It has a plesent color and good smell.
