Every morning I start my day with this coffee...it is delicious and strong enough without being overbearing. I add a touch of sugar and some cream and top it off with a little whip cream - heaven!!! My cat and dog are part of the ritual - I have to give them a little whip cream each, so their day starts off right, too!!....

This tastes just like when you get a surprisingly nice cup of coffee from a diner. Unfortunately, it's pretty acidic and might make your stomach feel odd if you're sensitive to that sort of thing. It doesn't taste too acidic until it starts to get cold, though.

This was a strange one because my first few sips I wasn't crazy about it. I was sorta thinking it had a burnt flavor. But then it started to taste REALLY good. By the end of the cup I was like "I Love this Coffee!" and wished I had another K-cup of it. Maybe I just needed to let the cup cool down for a few minutes before drinking? <---I haven't had that experience with other K-cups I've tried. With all that said I will definitely pick up a box on my next order. I wish I had some now.

Perfect blend of flavor and boldness for people who like a stronger cup of coffee but not so strong that it puts hair on your chest. I used to have a major brand favorite until I tried this. Will keep trying others, but will not run out of this. I've never tried it black, I'm a cream and sugar user.

I have been buying this product for years as an extra bold coffee, and without any notice, it seems to have been changed to a milder medium roast. I don't know what happened but it is definitely weaker than it was before. The rich bold taste is not there anymore. I am no longer recommending this product. The prices went up across the board, but the flavor went down on this brand. I am glad to see the packaging is getting fixed as well because the k-cups weren't fitting in my dispenser like they used to. They are still tight but not as bad as before. My container that I use is the plastic one that holds one k-cup as a display with the rest inside the container. Back to square one!

This is my favorite K-Cup of all time. I have tried many bold roasts and this is by far the best I've found. I love it in the morning because of it's bold aroma and balanced taste. If you prefer a darker roast without the acidic properties of other brands, this is the coffee for you!

Received my Keurig as a Christmas gift. Had no idea what coffee I would like since I'm just an average morning coffee drinker. Was afraid everything would be too strong but amazingly this is a perfect blend. Can't believe a Medium Roast "Extra Bold" would be so smooth and not bitter. If you don't like strong coffee and are afraid this will be too much for you give this a try like I did. I use a 14 oz. mug and make sure I fill it almost to the top with water then add a little cream and sugar. Love it. So happy there really is a coffee out there for me...just the average morning drinker.

I tried this at a friend's home and this is the coffee that made me realize a Keurig machine was not a bad idea. Coming from the most popular coffee chain gave me doubts about quick brewing but the convenience is unsurpassable. Donut Shop Extra Bold isn't everything I've dreamed of but it is a good, smooth alternative when consumed immediately (don't let it sit too long or it will go bitter).

Why did the recipe change? The coffee in the new packaging is horrible. I used to love drinking this coffee before the change. I have switched brands and will not ever go back until the recipe is changed back to the original. In fact I will never purchace any brand by Green Mountian until the original recipe is restored for Original Donut Shop medium extra bold.

I just received a Keurig as a birthday gift and my first to try was the Donut Shop Extra Bold Coffee. I was drinking the coffee while reading customer reviews and I agree 100% that this coffee does the trick every morning to start my day off. In my opinion, I prefer to drink most of my coffee straight black since you can actually taste the roasted beans and that extra bold flavor. This coffee is definitely one of my daily servings everyday you wont regret it!!!
