Extremely east to set up an Arlo camera system and the video is extremely clear. This is my second Arlo system so we can watch our primary and secondary homes easily from both our phones and computer. When motion is detected it sends an alert to your phone and/or computer to tell me which camera has detected motion. In addition it sends an alert to my daughter's phone as you can share the alert messages. Night vision is limited to about 25-30 feet but where I needed more range outside I added motion sensing floodlights to greatly extend that to about 60 feet.

I really like these cameras. The magnets are very heavy to make it easy to swap batteries and charge. If you are not planning on subscribing, you cannot set an activity zone wirelessly. The default setting is that everything in camera range may set off alerts and/or recordings depending on your settings. You can adjust the sensitivity level of motion, but it still picks up a lot. The talk back feature is great for deliveries and to deter potiential criminals. Our backyard camera is set off quite a bit, but the battery seems to last about a week.

Work great! Disappointed they don't work through a window because of glare. Was afraid to put them outside due our severe winters. But so far impressed how well they are working.

Have them at our house. They're excellent and the batteries last months. Bought them for the in-laws for Christmas. Zero monthly fees. Wire free so they can literally go anywhere. Highly recommend.

After much research, I finally decided on the Arlo Pro 2 security system. It has great video and was very easy to install. Love it!!

Very easy to setup and install. Battery seems to lasts longer than the very first version of this camera. The only thing I didn't like is I couldn't make it to ignore movements on trees especially when it is windy. It drains the battery faster when it detects motion frequently. You can always disable motion detection but it defeats the purpose of using it for security. Also you can not add a detection zone to limit the area where to detect motion unless plug in to an AC outlet. In addition adding a solar panel won't allow you to add detection zones as well, without this feature you end receiving tons of useless notifications on your phone. There are 2 USB ports to record locally using a flash USB drive on top of the cloud which is nice but there is no way to view the flash drive unless you eject it then stick it to a computer. Video quality is excellent during the day but not very good at night.

When I purchase this package off your site it didnt say nothing about being a refurbish item. Very disappointing.

the camera itself has a clear picture and the set up was easy, but 1 of my cameras has an issue with the speaker and one of the batteries will not charge.

The arlo I recieved is not the same as pictured I recieve the round base station not the retangular one pictured.....the round base station is the cheeper model and does not allow for on site recording to a hard disc....I would not have purchased this item if I knew there was a bait and switch....I am annoyed especially since it took so long to get to me.

I sent mine back because it's not the one in the picture you sent me a different 1 not the 1 I want the 1 I wanted had the smart siren and that's the 1 in the picture
