Hydrating for fine and damage hair. Great result for this money. Big bottle! Economy package , my hair combs well, doesn't tangle, smells good and is shiny.

I agree with the review below. Same thing happened to me. I LOVED the old Therappe shampoo and Humectress conditioner. I also do not like the new formula at all. Unfortunately I don't think there is a Nexxus product that has the ingredients that I want so I will have to switch brands. I hope I can find bottles of the old stuff but I doubt it since I've seen the new products out for a while now. I was very disappointed because the new formula was awful. Someone suggested I try the therappe and humectress line. I LOVED it. Nexxus changed the formula on me again. I don't know what they did to it but the new formula is awful. I don't understand why companies change their best-sellers and alienate their very loyal customers. Like another reviewer, I bought all the bottles I could find of the old stuff and once it's gone I will look for a new brand unless the old formula comes back. It would be nice if a company actually listened to their customers. I don't see one positive review here or on other sites. That's a red flag Nexxus.

What a shame the formula of Humectress, omitting some of the first ingredients listed on the old bottles. cyclopentasiloxane, bis (c13-15 alkoxy) pg-amodimethicone. Adding hydrolzed proteins did not make up for the ingredients removed. Please go back to the old formula and charge more if you need to.

What happened to the ultimate moisturizing conditioner? The one I have been using faithfully since 1989, when my stylist required me to use it for a month to restore moisture, before she would perm my hair. It was light enough to use as a leave in and left my hair silky, smooth, & tangle free. The new formula is heavy & sticky and leaves my hair tangled. Why would u remove ingredients like coconut oil & honey extract? I understand the need to improve products & the concerns of certain product ingredients, but it simply does not work as well on my hair. I will be searching for something new

I have used humectress for many years on my fine relaxed hair as a leave-in and rinse out after my relaxers. It also was great with controlling flyaways. The last time i purchased humectress the product had changed, with new ingredients and with- out the benefit of a leave-in. Furthermore the results were far inferior. As I was unaware of the change when I 1st purchased it, I will no longer be purchasing any more nexxus products.

I used this product almost 30 years ago and it saved my hair from the damage that perming and dying had done. Nothing worked as well as Therapee and Humectress in bringing the beauty back to my hair at the time. Recently, I was trying to remember the name of those products so that I may use them again, and the names came back to me. Here on this site I see that you changed the formula and that customers are not happy with what used to be wonderful products. How disappointing! I don't know what I am going to do now. I was counting on being able to use this product. Please go back to the old formula so that people may experience something wonderful. It happens sometimes - fixing things that aren't broken and realizing that you had a good thing going for you, as it did for Cocacola with Coke and Classic Coke. I will keep checking to see if you do return to your roots!

This is the only product I have used repeatedly and for 14 plus years. I use it as a leave in conditioner. I have dry naturally curly, thick hair. It is the only product that has been able to put moisture back into my hair. If your hair is very dry and does not respond to oils give this a try.
