Faithful user of Humectress Ultimate Moisturizing Conditioner for about 15 years, but my supply has run out and I can no longer find the old formula. So disheartening - this was my very most ever favorite conditioner. I'd give anything to be able to buy more. For others in my situation, I have had good experiences with Matrix's Biolage Conditioning Balm - not as good as the original Humectress, but better than their new formula. Maybe it will work for you as well.

I was so disappointed when I opened my new bottle of Humectress. I've been using this product for years for its light weight formula. I will never buy the "new improved" Humectress again. My hair hates it. I have two other friends who have said the same thing. Like one of the other reviews said "If it isn't broke, don't try to fix it".

I was really excited when I first bought this product. I was looking for something that added moisture to my hair, and would eliminate frizz and flyways. Unfortunately, the commercials that you see about this product on TV is not true. My hair did not feel silky smooth AT ALL!!!!!! The product itself felt like very hard jelly in my hand. I googled this problem, and found that it started when Nexxus changed their ingredients and products. I really wish that they would bring their old one back!!!!!

I have used humectress for many years on my fine relaxed hair as a leave-in and rinse out after my relaxers. It also was great with controlling flyaways. The last time i purchased humectress the product had changed, with new ingredients and with- out the benefit of a leave-in. Furthermore the results were far inferior. As I was unaware of the change when I 1st purchased it, I will no longer be purchasing any more nexxus products.

As an African American, preventing breakage and retaining body is my ultimate concern. I routinely use a dime size of Humectress on my dry hair to prevent dryness and breakage. It does not leave my hair oily, which aids in promoting body while preventing breakage.

My hair type is 4B kinky course curls. I have the worst hair dryness problem out there. This product truly helps to hydrate and restore moisture to my hair. My hair and scalp have been through ringworm infection, chemical damage, and color damage. I thought nothing would work. I have recently gone natural and this product has been my super hero! Goodbye dry hair, hello moisture!

I used this product almost 30 years ago and it saved my hair from the damage that perming and dying had done. Nothing worked as well as Therapee and Humectress in bringing the beauty back to my hair at the time. Recently, I was trying to remember the name of those products so that I may use them again, and the names came back to me. Here on this site I see that you changed the formula and that customers are not happy with what used to be wonderful products. How disappointing! I don't know what I am going to do now. I was counting on being able to use this product. Please go back to the old formula so that people may experience something wonderful. It happens sometimes - fixing things that aren't broken and realizing that you had a good thing going for you, as it did for Cocacola with Coke and Classic Coke. I will keep checking to see if you do return to your roots!

I live in sunny Florida and the sun can really dry my hair out at times. I am African American and your product works great on hair. The conditioner (Humectress) leaves my hair soft and moisturized. I always recommend your product to all my friends and family. Many black women that I recommend your product too, don't believe that Nexxus is for African American people. But I tell them they are so wrong and they agree after they tried it : ). I believe that more black women would try Nexxus if you have black hair models. I have been using Humectress for around 15 years and you have recently change the formula -- please\ change it back to the original - it was moisturizing without being heavy - now it feels completely different- like you added vitamin b to it - will not purchase again- I will look forward to you changing it back to the original

Bought a bottle of Humectress unaware the formula had changed. I thought I had mistakenly picked up shampoo instead of conditioner. I am actually getting more knots from using Humectress than if I use Therapy shampoo on its own. More knots, dry looking hair and static. All from this new formula. I'm tossing it. What a shame.
