It does what it says it should!

Very good filter!

Great Product

Long term user

Excellent product! I would not use any other filtration system. The only problem is that my grocery store is out of stock of both filters frequently, so I buy whatever they have.. Buy a backup filter when you have a chance,

Filters

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I experienced that a lot of times, that I replace a new filter, they don't drain very well. Sometimes takes 15 or more minutes to drain a pitch of water.

Our Standard and LongLast Filters should take at most 10-15 minutes to filter a reservoir full of water in your pitcher or dispenser. The only exceptions are water that contains high levels of either air or sediment. No worries, we're here to help. why colored water?

Hello, Kelly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We're sorry to learn that you had found tiny particles in your pitcher. While particles of activated carbon are not harmful, we'd love to share a few tips with you. It's normal for carbon particles to appear in your first fillings, but make sure to re-soak the filter completely submerged in a tall glass of cold water, for 15 minutes, then holding it for 1-2 minutes under cold running tap water is often enough to minimize this. The particles also may be minimized by ensuring that water does not run into the reservoir with full force and that the incoming water is generally directed away from the filter. Pretty good...
