It is a must have for the upcoming flu season especially the 12 hours cold and fever Multi-symptom which is a cough suppressant, Expectorant, pain reliever and anti-inflammatory. This mucinex melt the mucus which make the recovery way better and faster! The quality of mucinex is extremely high and I always trust this brand!

The tablets are a little big to swallow. One side is pink and one side is white. They aren't coded so it's hard to swallow.

That means you only need to remember to take them twice a day AND they keep working during that timeframe. I do think you could get similar benefits of relief by taking a variety of pills that do the same thing but the length of time the pills work and the amount of pills you have to take can't compete with this product. Overall I would recommend and take again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mucinex 12 hour cold and fever is an NSAID which is a pain reliever so that almost cures the fever within minutes and all your aches and pains as well. I believe that's the orange side of the pill and the white side is for the mucus which dried up in a matter of twenty mins or so no more runny nose or rattling chest. I couldn't be happier with this product and I highly recommend it. Also because it is an nsaid please eat something before taking it as it could upset your belly.

It has an immediate release layer, which helps to work right away and a 12 hour release that makes it work the whole day so you can do one dose in the morning and one before bed. The packaging is great too because each dose is in its own individual foil package, which you can cut out and carry along with you, so convenient! works great!!

My only issue is that it's hard on my stomach. I was able to deal with it but it's not something I can take long term.

It works fast to break down mucus and clear out anything that is causing the cough in addition to bringing relief to fever, muscle aches, and other cold symptoms. Headache, stuffy nose , sneezing and sore throat. It only took one dose before I started feeling relief . By the 2nd dose , I was just about over any symptoms. The pills are a little hard to swallow but it did what it was suppose to do and thats all that mattered to me . I definitely know what will be in my medicine cabinet at all times now .
