I love that it helps tackle multiple symptoms at once, so I don't have to take a bunch of different medications throughout the day. It helped with my congestion, cough, and overall cold symptoms, and the 12-hour relief was especially convenient. Definitely something I like to keep on hand during cold and flu season!

It alleviates body aches and helped reduce my fever quicker than some other medicines I've taken in the past. This does loosen chest congestion and mucus so you may notice an increase in cough from this. Overall I would recommend to quickly snap out of any cold or fever symptom!

This is a new product that has just come out and I would really excited to try it the first time I get a cold. The packaging is fairly easy to open, and the pills are dual layered so they give you that extra help that lasts a while instead of just wearing off after about three or four hours. For this to come, especially at the beginning of cold and flu season, this is going to be a godsend. I'm a teacher, so after summer break, my immune system needs to build itself up! This will be great because I can take it in the morning and don't have to take another dose at lunchtime, like usual cold and flu products.

My husband especially had a horrible cough and it didn't seem like anything was helping. He found so much relief with this! He was able to actually get some much needed sleep without being woken up by his coughing. We both really like the extended release formula, because often we find cold medicine helps initially but isn't long lasting. He felt like this stayed consistently helpful for 12 hours! We definitely will keep this stocked in our medicine cabinet for the future. :)

The guaifenesin addresses mucus while dextromethorphan reduces the cough relex, so it's particularly logical when you're dealing with phlegm/chest congestion plus frequent coughing. Naproxen instead of acetaminophen. This can be useful if you specifically prefer an NSAID for fever, headache, or body aches. It also means you're not automatically doubling up on acetaminophen if you're taking another acetaminophen-containing medicine.

If I don't have the time to make tea or I can tell I'm getting sick I always keep mucinex in my cabinet. The pills are a little large so keep that in mind. The packaging is pretty easy to open. I tear one square off and always have them with me for if a friend gets sick on a trip or I. I'm a professional ballroom dancer can't afford to be sick during a performance. Gotta take care of your peeps and yourself! Overall nothing beats it!
