It helped break up the mucus in my chest so that I was able to cough the thin loose mucus up. Overall, I'm completely happy with this product. It came just in time as I was feeling under the weather. I definitely must have for your medicine cabinet. The instructions were very clear on how many tablets to take and how to take the medication.
