I've had a ton of hams ,but this ham is disgusting, no taste, the slices were thick the rind on it was eeww, i bought this in a rush trusted members mark brand ,wish I really hadn't, for now on I'll stick with a sugardale or cooks bone in no spiral, that way i know my guests %26 myself will have no complaints

Molded pressed ham.

I just bought 2 of these spiral sliced “hams” on sale. I didn't know it was actually pressed ham molded into the shape of a ham and then spiral sliced. But now I know why they come in those shiny bags, because if you could see they were molded ground ham instead of real sliced ham you wouldn't buy them. I'm sure if you buy the bone-in spiral sliced hams they're real ones…I think.

Better than the store bought ham!

This ham was so delicious and I am happy I saved the money from ordering my ham this year. There was hardly any fat on this ham. I warmed it in a bag with honey and pineapple juice for an hour then took it out of the bag and dry rubbed the ham with brown sugar and spices and baked it for another 20 minutes. I took the drippings from the bag, added honey and made a glaze on the stoves that I poured over the ham and baked it for another 20 minutes. It was delicious.

NOT GOOD

if I could give zero I would. this is NOT a ham in the traditional sense that you think it is. it is pieces parts with a lot of gristlel and fat molded into a ham shape, much like crappy lunch meat. that's exactly what it is, a nasty thick slice lunch meat. so disappointed. BTW also, thers no bone, so not sure why call it spiral sliced either. Husband said it tastes like Spam. Nice job and why they're willing to sell at $10 off, because it cost them $5 to make it with all the gristle and fat.

Disgusting gelatinous glob of Spam

This is not a ham in the true sense. As others have said, it is a big gooey horrible chunk of “Spam”. Absolutely HORRIBLE!!! We only got as far as tasting it when after we cooked it in the oven and frankly, we have thrown the ENTIRE thing away. All 7 pounds. We'll be seeking a refund from Sam's after Black Friday. Stay as far away from this garbage as possible. If Sam's refuses to refund our money for this disgusting gelatinous glob of Spam we will take our business elsewhere. I'm surprised they even sell this, but then again, there are those culinary critics that thought this was “the hit of the party”. Silly me.

DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM!

I have been a loyal member of Sam's Club for more than 25 years and this may be the WORST product ever ! If I wanted cheap pressed ham product, I would go to the deli. First, It isn't spiral sliced. Second the hard skin or whatever is too hard to eat. 3 it isn't real muscle I could serve this to my family for Thanksgiving l. I had to make a mad dash to replace this bogus product. This is NOT A REAL HAM! Sam's club you failed!

Not great.

The taste was okay, but it has a cinnamon flavor, even without the glaze. I liked the fact that it is completely sliced with no waste, but to achieve this, it's overly processed and not like a real spiral ham in taste or texture. Definitely going back to a bone-in next time.

Thankfully, it wasn't for Thanksgiving!

That "ham" looked nothing like the picture or any ham I've eaten in my life. My husband was convinced that it was presesed meat and we're both glad that it was purchased to test out a recipe instead of our actual holiday ham. "It's not bad, but it's not real ham" was said too much for my liking, but it's true.

Packed in brown sugar solution

Very disappointing. It is not a flavor smoked ham with a glaze packet like we have normally purchased in the past. It is a ham packed in a brown sugar solution with a glaze packet. I guess this is what they mean by double glaze. It also allows them to add to the weight at little cost. The flavor of the smoked ham itself is totally lost. Also, 2 inches cut out of roughly 8 is not a spiral cut. You still have to slice the thing considerably, and all the "spiral" does is make a jagged mess.

What did we expect for $23.00

This is not real ham. It's on the level of like buying a can of Spam. This ham is not solid, does not have a bone. It is processed. I will have to say my Australian Shepherd likes it though. That's the reason I gave it two stars instead, one. Trust me, she will only receive a couple bites of it.
