so, got these to try and even though i was excited at first, after i put it in my mouth, it was hard and mostly disgusting. nothing like chocolate chip cookie dough unless you count the peanut butter and oat taste. don't waste your money or time unless you like peanut butter oatmeal balls that seem out of date

They used to be really good, until the past few month. My last several bags were, either, not mixed well and had poor chocolate chip distribution (some balls with none, others mostly made up of chocolate chips), or the balls had settled into big clumps that I would have to piece off in chunks to eat. In my last two bags, they are mostly peanut butter with very few oats. The slight cookie dough flavor is completely gone. I don't know what has happened, but I may need to find the recipe for a homemade dupe.

I thought I'd give these a try to save myself time from prepping them this week. Will not do that again. These were hard and not worth the extra ingredients when buying Pre-made. If I'm in pinch I'll use the kodiak protein balls mix to make prepping quicker next time. Do not recommend these at all.

First time I bought these they were great, fresh, moist, soft. Second time they were dried out and fell apart, crumbled. I was in the store today and thought about giving them another chance ... could feel in the bag they were hard as rocks. Seems they dry out badly in package in store over time. A shame because they were tasty and a nice protein snack.

Have you ever taking a big swig of orange juice only to find out it was grapefruit juice? I have eaten cookie dough all my life, this has some small flavoring like cookie dough but it's nothing like cookie dough at all. It's like a bunch of health food store ingrediants mixed with some flavor and a single chocolate chip. It tastes ok, like an fiber oatmeal, want a be, cookie. Sure, get it for a snack and food the protein, but don't expect anything resembling the taste and texture of real cookie dough.

I purchased these in the past %26 they were good, but the last 3 bags have been terrible - each bag worse than the last. I can no longer recommend them. Stale, hard, all of them clumped together in one giant ball that you can't break apart. Not sure what changed, but I am disappointed. Threw the most recent bag in the trash %26 won't purchase again.

These are peanut-buttery and my athlete son loves to have these about an hour before a game.

Better than I expected - will purchase again - very good - moved up high on favorite snack list !!
