I pisked up these steaks to try them out because someone in the meat department said they was good, that's no where near the truth these steaks are garbage they should never be sold they are like eating rawhide, toughest stakes I've ever bought total waste of money....

Worst sams club meat ever

I bought 2 packages i was excited to try. The dogs were happy they ate it, no problem. I think I got 2 bites and tried to chew and could not. I was going to take thd other package back, but don't like to do that, but i wasted my money. The dogs also ate well again. This steak was like trying to eat a bone. I tenderized and used meat tenderizer. The 2nd package was as bad as the first. I have to say I have never had such a bad steak. If i could rate this 0 stars i would. Sams has the best chicken and ground beef i have ever eaten, but this grass fed beef horrible. Dog food only. I am happy for the people who left good reviews, but i have to say it was your lucky day. I feel like i just threw 38.00 in the trash

Badly Botched Butchering

What looked like a slim fat cap in the packaging turned out to be fat and tough gristle. During butter basting on medium high, it caused the steak to pucker up. When flipped, I had to weigh both ends down so they touched the pan. When eating the steak, the fat and gristle waste accounted for several ounces. What a bummer @ almost $17 per lbs. Also, the steak was butchered so the fiber ran across the short sides of the steak. Maybe this caused the extreme toughness of the steak. Every strip steak I have ever eaten (or butchered back in the day as a Longhorn manager) was cut with the grain running the length of the steak. I won't be buying this brand again.

Not recommend

It had some good marbles so I purchased. It was chewy and hard. Wasted my money.

Midiocre at best!

Actually wasn't impressed with the quality, taste or tenderness of the steaks.

Ok at best definitely different from a black angus and not marbled like a typical Choice steak
