[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had back issues for most of my life (including back surgery) and having a mattress that was supportive but still had some give in the right places has always been critical for me. This mattress does all of that! It's the perfect level of firmness and give and feels incredibly well made. It's my second tempur-pedic mattress and I continue to be incredibly happy with their products.

No more waking up with back-aches and not feeling like we were rested any longer. I love the fact that it keeps me cool at night and I am able to get a full night's rest. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I purchased the tempur adapt hybrid medium about a month ago, and oh my goodness, we've never slept better in our lives. I'm trying to figure out why we slept on our old, awful mattress for so long. The medium adapt is the perfect blend between soft and firm. It feels really firm when you plop down on it, but as soon as you lay down, it begins to form ever so slightly around your body. You're basically cradled in this perfect foam cloud, but it's still firm enough to help alleviate any back, neck or shoulder pain! For about three years now, I've had chronic neck and back pain (I'm 33, so still young) that I think was caused from a nonsupportive mattress. Since buying the tempur adapt, my neck and back pain is almost completely gone. This mattress has literally improved my life! I don't hurt all day anymore. If you're on the fence, just try it! We absolutely love it! Oh, and yes, it does seem really firm when you first get it, but after a month, it has broken in nicely and isn't nearly as firm as when we first slept on it. I also followed the suggestion of slowly walking on the mattress upon receiving it to help speed up the break-in process.

My tempur-pedic is only five years old sleeping in a hole not comfortable anymore have tried to get a new one but company needed pictures an I did that an they told me it's not good enough so I took more pictures with a ruler for depth an a long broom stick for depth still no new mattress, this company sucks!

We have owned this bed for over 2.5 years, and are still very pleased with it - we look forward to getting back to sleeping in our own bed when on vacation! There was a short adjustment period (less than 2 weeks). It is the best bed we have ever had! The cooling cover works great, and the hybrid is the perfect mix of support and comfort. We recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade to a great mattress, it's pricey but worth it!

When my husband and I first purchased this mattress we were in love. It was wonderful for the first 2 years. Now currently on year 5 and my husband and I both prefer to sleep on the couch. The mattress has become so uncomfortable, my husband will wake up with tingling arms and stiff neck. I wake up with shooting lower back pain. So disappointing after spending so much on this mattress that we truly only got 2 good years before it went down hill. For reference my husband and I are only in our early 30's and otherwise healthy adults, just made the worse decision to buy this expensive mattress.

Expensive but worth every penny so far. Hybrid Temp goes easy on my aches and pains. I have the adjustable base and it makes a big difference in my acid reflux and also my hip pain. Zero gravity is a little difficult to sleep that way, but I tend to put it on 30 minutes before I get out of bed. Helps with back and hip issues.

It's very comfortable and supports my back. I have sciatic nerve problems and this bed has helped my back every day since I purchased it. The only down side is the cooling cover is not machine washable. This would be nice but it's not the end of the world.

About two months prior I had bought a brand new mattress. My hips would still hurt when sleeping on my side, and my back would hurt every time I got out of bed. As soon as the TempurAdapt arrived I put it on my bed. My hips have not hurt once since then and I can get out of bed without my back aching. I have also been sleeping great at night since I don't have to roll around every time my hips start to ache! I also sweat in my sleep alot and haven't once since using this mattress. It's so comfortable and has been a life saver since I'm no longer in pain and can sleep great! I definitely recommend everyone to try out this mattress!!

My husband and I have a two year old daughter that still sleeps with us and a french Bulldog.. we had a queen mattress prior and there was absolutely not enough room for everyone. Our Tempur-Pedic-Adapt kIng size has so much room for everyone to sleep so well. This was the best investment we have made and wake up feeling rested every morning. Yay!
