Unfortunately mine came very melted so after being in the fridge a while I was able to try it but it wasn’t pretty since the chocolate had melted into a mess and covered the whole thing. It tasted good and had a chocolaty birthday cake taste. I would buy them again just to try it out without the melted mess. These would be great for my daughter to try the different kinds since she can’t eat gluten.

This might be why I felt it was a little hard and not as chewy as if it would have come with an added layer of protection? Excellent taste, loved it! Tasted like birthday cake and oddly enough a bit of Fruity Pebbles too? Would def buy these in a full set!

Not overly sweet as is normally the case with birthday cake flavored items and just the drizzle of chocolate is a nice touch. But what is even better is that it is vegan, dairy free, nut free, gluten free, kosher- you name it and it accommodates a whole number of food allergies and restrictions without compromising on taste. Honestly, if the box didn’t say it I wouldn’t have even realized it was any different than your normal granola bar. I took off a star because it only has 2 grams of protein and therefore probably won’t be a staple in my pantry, but is a great addition for many people.

If I’m being honest, I would’ve preferred if this was vanilla drizzled, or at least if the bottom was vanilla instead of chocolate with a chocolate drizzle on top, but that’s just my preference. It seemed a bit small (almost fit in the palm if my hand) but after eating it, it was the perfect size for a snack in between meals. I do wish this had more protein in it, only 2 g per bar but the bar is only 110 calories so I can’t complain much. I think this would satisfy my sweets craving so I could have this instead of reaching for something unhealthy like cake or cookies. overall, I think these are a great staple to keep in the cupboard for a snack and I’d like to try more flavors.
