Please know that although fragrance or perfume is not added to the product, MacKenzie, they will have a scent due to their natural smell. Also, since there's no masking fragrance added to cover this smell, you may notice it before using the product, but it should not transfer to your fabrics after use. The last time our Bounce Free & Gentle dryer sheets went under a change was back on February 2014. There was no formula change, but only a name change. If you normally use this version and this package smells different, it may be a unique situation. We’ve found if our Bounce Free & Gentle dryer sheets have been stored close to a strongly scented item, they can absorb its fragrance or perfume.
