[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this is the first time i have tried a ‘free and gentle’ dryer sheet as I was skeptical of how well they would really work. I was surprisingly impressed! And i even used them on the most uncomfortable clothes.. work clothes. My work scrubs, which are usually rough and scratchy, were soft and static free! And my husband’s work jeans were also came out softer and static free! I then used the Bounce sheets on my towel and sheets load and they have never been softer! Not to mention no worries about dyes and artificial scents! I am already recommending these free and gentle Bounce sheets to everyone!

Purchased both of these products recently and BOTH were strongly SCENTED. Had allergic reaction. I am severly disppointed that Bounce is now advetising its products as scent free but putting scents in them. This could be very unhealthy to your customers, maybe even life threatening. I have heard the same thing happen to other people as well.

This used to be the best fabric softener, but not anymore since P&G changed them to scented, even though the package still says "free of dyes and perfumes." I haven't even opened the box, but I can tell this is NOT true just by smelling it. Yes, P&G -- there are consumers who prefer no perfume in their softener and I will be returning it.

I've used this product for years and was very happy with it while it remained "free of dyes and perfumes" as stated on the packaging. Unfortunately, it now has a truly terrible and overwhelming scent- like cherry car freshener (and still states it is free of perfumes). Well, I can smell it in the next room. Since I am very sensitive to scents I will no longer be buying this and will have to shop another brand, after I re-wash all my clothes.

Recently Bounce has been having a perfume smell, although light, it is still smell scented and I smell it even when the box is unopened. I have used the "Perfume Free" product for a long time and this must be a new formula because I itch a lot and didn't have that reaction originally. Also it never had any smell. Has it been changed? I can not use these and have 2 more 200 sheet boxes.

These dryer sheets are not fragrance-free. Fragrance-free products do not contain any fragrance ingredients, regardless of whether it is synthetic or natural. There is a fragrance, and that is not okay, especially for someone with a fragrance allergy. I am extremely disappointed in this false advertisement. This is an unscented product, not fragrance-free.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sometimes dryer sheets scents are so overpowering that it doesn’t matter what detergent you use because all you smell is the dryer sheet. With these fragrance free gentle fabric sheets you get the softness that a dryer sheet leaves without the overpowering smell.

Have been using these for years but the last box I bought smelled like mold/mildew. Was so strong we had to put it in the garage while we waited to return it. Thought it was a one-off but all the boxes in multiple stores smelled like this. Also, I’ve read your responses to the many other reviews stating the same problem. Please don’t respond with “We have strict quality controls…” You seem to have a manufacturing problem.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the Bounce Free and Clear, and I am totally confused about this product. I often shy away from dryer sheets on my young son's clothing because my understanding is that it makes clothes flammable - but I tried this since it is Free and Clear. I didn't notice any difference at all! No smell, no fabric improvement, nothing. So I guess I don't understand what they do if they don't freshen the laundry with a fragrance. I probably wouldn't buy this product. I also think that people who use free and clear detergent probably don't want any chemical additives to their laundry that they don't need to use, and they probably won't buy this either.

I was so happy when it arrived because my toddler and fiancé both have sensitive skin and so I have to be cautious with any laundry detergents I use. The fact that it has no dyes or perfumes, it really works for us!
