I have a tiny laundry room. When my 35 yr old dryer died, even though my 2 yr old LG washer was fine, I took a leap and bought the tower to make more room. The washer has many of the features my top load had so I'm happy. Love it, love it. ❤️ Makes laundry day almost fun!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using my wash tower for 5 or 6 months now and have been impressed with the cleaning ability. We have a 4 year old who still has occasional potty accidents and this washer is able to fully remove all scent and stains. The features included in the accompanied app are also great, you can track energy usage and be reminded when it is time to clean the washer drum. Even the small but pleasant feature that detects the cycle used on the washer and automatically applies that cycle to the dryer when powered on. I would certainly recommend this wash tower to anyone.

I regret this purchase so much. I feel like this machine costs me so money to try and keep stink free. This is a terrible design, keeps the drain water in the bottom. Once a week you have to run a washing machine cleaner through it and then a laundry sanitizer and then get on the floor to empty the drain. It still stinks.

At first glance I was a bit intimidated by the controls but after reading the manual I found them surprisingly easy. I also connected it to the Thinq app, which turned out to be a convenient bonus. By using to the recommended small amount of HE laundry detergent my laundry comes out exceptionally clean. Doing laundry has become a fun experience and the unit adds a stylish touch to my utility room. I highly recommend the LG Washtower — it's a purchase I'm extremely satisfied with.

The Graphite Steel is aesthetically pleasing to the eye, sleek, shiny and beautifully lit. The soothing LED machine control buttons are conveniently located in the middle of the machine; no more stretching to reach the control and power settings! It’s easy to download and sync the helpful LG ThinQ App to the machine. Features of the app include product registration, cycle and Smart Diagnosis notifications which can help extend the life of your machine. It’s a workhorse because it is HUGE; I’ve washed three pillows at once with room to spare and on another occasion washed three blankets and could have tossed in a fourth! Washer has AI and a variety of temperature/soil/spin settings in addition to a Steam/Sanitize feature, which is certainly helpful during a pandemic. Dryer also has AI and automatically sets the type/time/temperature settings that you previously used below. All of the AI makes my life as a single mom easier and my teenage daughter actually looks forward to doing laundry now! This machine also qualifies for energy rebates saving me money now and overtime. Overall I am extremely satisfied; this is the first time in my life I have been able to purchase a brand new washer/dryer. The LG Washtower is well-built, beautiful and can stand the test of time. I couldn’t ask for more; thank you LG!

My wash tower fits into my former laundry station leaving me much more usable space. The washer and dryer are quiet and energy efficient. My LG kitchen package was purchased 15 years ago and I have praised LG to all of my family and friends over the years. When I was looking to replace my old washer and dryer, there were cheaper brands available, but I was determined that LG was the only brand I would purchase. Last year I needed to replace my old TV; and of course, it is an LG!

Not only have we gained space in our laundry room, but we also have an energy-efficient work horse to help with our family of five! Moving the wash to the upper dryer means no more dropped items on the floor between machines. Easy to use with a sleek design. We are very happy with our purchase!

This review is about the options I thought I was getting when I purchased the product but was extremely disappointed in that LG could not accommodate my needs. The issue is the venting of the dryer. I searched the internet for a combo unit whereby I can vent the dryer on the right side of the unit. This unit was advertised as being able to vent on the side. Two things went wrong here. First, I was not aware that a separate side venting kit had to be purchased. So be mindful of this added cost. Second, once I spent money on this side venting kit, the dryer could NOT be vented on the right side although there is a pre-cut hole on the unit. The reason it can't be vented on the side is because there is a gas pipe and other parts housed on the right side. The LG technician that came out to install the unit said he couldn't move the internal parts. Now I'm stuck with this unit, I'm out the money for the side venting kit I will not use and it's now going to cost me money to make other arrangements to have this combo unit fit in the space I need it to.

It does an great job washing and drying. Its smart and hooks up to my phone. Lets me know when loads are done and allows you to start loads remotely. When done with washer it will automatically put dryer on settings to match. I've named her Betty because something this beautiful needs a name. It also came with a 10yr warranty.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've only had the unit a few weeks, but appreciate the sleek design and quiet operation. I am disappointed that the settings for each load-type in the washer and dryer can't be adjusted. (e.g., can't change the temperature or spin speed for a Normal Wash or a Small Load dry.) I was also used to having an Express Wash option, where the temperature and spin speed were adjustable in a shorter wash cycle. (ie, minimally dirty clothes only need a quick wash). The LG Small Load and Delicates selections aren't good substitutes.
