Piece of crap

I waited to write a review to see how this performed. I've had it for 18 months. It just completely died. I wish I would have bought a more expensive, more reliable fridge. Won't make that mistake again.

Great garage fridge

Awesome little fridge. It has been high 90s all week, and the fridge and freezer are keeping up. If I turned it up to 5, I'd be afraid of freezing stuff in the fridge.

Great until…

7 months later it was great until we noticed it started leaking brown sticking liquid from the mechanical components in the back. Completely unsure of what it is and whether it's safe to use the fridge still.

water build up inside

I have to figure out a way to bring this unit back, hopefully for replacement warranty. The fridge has water/ice build up inside. We have to put napkins to dampened the wetness. Not a good product!

Hi JC - it sounds like your door is out of adjustment allowing warm humid room air to enter the unit and condense. Here's a tutorial on how to resolve the issue:How to Reduce & Resolve Frost Buildup in Upright Freezers, Refrigerator and Freezer Compartments of Refrigerators.Frost occurs when moisture in ambient air touches the cold evaporator coils, metal shelves and interior sides of a freezer or refrigerator.Steps you can take to reduce frost build up:Move your hand around the outside of the freezer/refrigerator door. If you feel cold air, then the door is not sealing adequately. You can adjust the door by loosening the top hinge to reposition/adjust the freezer door to create a tight seal.Adjust the front levelling feet of your unit such that the front of the unit is slightly higher than the rear. Gravity will assist the door to close with a proper seal.TIP: Close the door on a dollar bill (or similar). The dollar bill should not easily pull out - there should be some resistance. Perform the “Dollar Bill Test” on the top, both sides, & bottom of your freezer door, and adjust accordingly.Do not over fill your freezer to prevent food items from shifting and preventing the freezer door from closing properly.Place only cool or cold food items in your refrigerator or freezer. Hot foods introduce humidity into the food storage compartment, which contributes to frost build up. Allow hot foods to cool before placing them in the refrigerator or freezer.Wrap foods tightly with plastic wrap. Butcher paper is not an adequate wrapping material. Glass container lids typically do not provide a proper seal.Dry the exterior of food before storing. By the time you reach home after purchasing frozen foods, the food items may have defrosted a bit and moisture may have already developed on packaging. Reduce the amount of time the door remains open. Labelling and organizing your foods so you can easily identify them will help shorten the number and duration of freezer trips. Set the freezer temperature so the freezers interior compartment stays around 0F (-18C), as higher and lower temperature settings contribute to frost build up.Door Seal Care:Keep the door seal clean. You can clean your door seal with a solution of one tsp of baking soda to a quart of lukewarm water. Pour the solution onto a clean sponge, and wipe it over the seal. Sponge off the solution with clear water and dry the seal with a clean cloth before closing the freezer door.Keep the door seal flexible by lubricating it with some petroleum jelly (e.g. Vaseline). Wipe it on and wipe it off with a clean dry cloth.

Died in less than 4 months of use

Purchased on 2/22 and died 6/28 due to COVID-19 we didn't even start to use till after April in our office. We came in your office to find hot water melted ice and sour coffee creamers. Store will not return or exchange due to being over 90 days.

Dented door

I just opened up my new refrigerator, the box didn't have any damage and I didn't notice the dent until I removed the energy star card. I am hoping I can get a new door.

Great for beverages, not so good for food

Excellent refrigerator for beverages, with the small freezer can make ice. However, doesn't hold temp to keep food in the safe zone without causing the items in the back of the refrigerator to freezer over.

Disappointed

The freezer part works great but the refrigerator part does not. I had been suspicious of things not feeling very cold and recently purchased a small container of milk. I went to grab it today and it was curdled an stinky - expiration date is a week away. I purchased a Fridge thermometer and tested temp in 3 different areas of the fridge all areas are at almost 60 degrees!!! Now I'm not sure if I can get a replacement or not - just super bummed.

Trash

They say third time's a charm. Well, this is the third fridge I pick up and goes bad in a span of 2 months. The freezer works, but the fridge is always warm. And just like many have mentioned, good luck getting a dent free fridge even when the box is in good shape. What's worse is the warranty plan sold by Sams. You are forced to deal with the manufacture the first year which is a total joke. You have to go through a bunch of hoops to get your fridge service. Oh and don't expect to get a refund on the warranty if you are past 30 days of your purchase.
