Bought this yesterday when sale started. Freezer door is misaligned. Drops gradually as it moves away from the hinge to the point where the outside edge is close enough to the top of the fridge door that sometimes when you open the freezer door it pulls the fridge door open too, and vice verso. Don't want to get involved in fixing the door myself. Description includes a light in fridge and freezer. Freezer does not have a light. Freezer did a nice job freezing a bowl of water. Set fridge to 6. Checked later and the back of the fridge was heavily frosted and fridge was not that cold. Reset to 5 and frost disappeared overnight and fridge was colder. Debating whether to return it Monday for another. Size is perfect for my brother's needs.

I bought this about 18 months ago. It died today. As a diabetic the lose of the fridge was bad enough the lost of the insulin was horrific. I just bout a mini for immediate use so I can salvage somethings. until a new one could be sent to me from another vendor. Words to the wise check their site about warranty. First the page does not show to ask for help. Then as far as the warranty you have to submit your receipt!!! so IF you are foolish enough to buy this item, scan or copy the receipt and keep it in a safe place.

I've had this unit for a total of almost 8 months now. Make sure not to put more than about 50% capacity food in this unit. Freezer is fine, you can pack that part completely full, it works great. The fridge part has the cooling vs capacity issue. For the first 6 months or so , I had the dial set to 4, and it kept everything fairly cool, no higher than 38F. I thought "wow this fridge is great" and started putting more food in it till it was about 75%, HUGE mistake, even cranked all the way up to 5 food got warm, over 50F and spoiled food, the compressor was too hot to touch, had to throw away about $200 in food... If you need close to full capacity this fridge is rated for then either get a basic cheapy 20+ cu ft fridge for around $400 new or $200 used, or plan on putting no more than ~2.5 cu ft worth of food in this fridge.

This inside was always frosted and wet inside. Mine leaked on the outside also and ruined it. It lasted 3 mo. I don't recommend this item at all! Thomson was of not help in resolving the matter because an extended warranty wasn't purchased. Bad business!

Never got cold enough

I use this inside the house, in a quiet back room just for beverages and ice. It worked great at first, but after 18 months just couldn't stay cold. Now it is failing altogether. I expect a major appliance to last longer than "just past the warranty" period. Silly me.

I bought one. I died after 7 months. I made a warranty claim. They were difficult to deal with and made the process drag out for a very long time before they finally issued a check. In the meantime I bought a replacement. That one lasted for about 20 months. I certainly did not expect it to last forever but I do not think it is unreasonable to expect 3 to 5 years before it dies.

Purchased my refrigerator this past Spring and it has run quite we!!. Hiwever, last night I heard a strange noise come from it and opened the door and found that one of the shelves had shattered into small pieces. It took awhile to clean all of the glass out. I have never heard of anything like this happening to a refrigerator shelf.

I bought this fridge because it's the perfect size and style I wanted for my home theater. I plugged it in and waited all day for it to cool down. Only the freezer got cold. The lower part of the fridge stayed room temp. I will return it asap. I also didn't feel comfortable with it having flammable refrigerant!

I bought this as an extra fridge for my basement. Brought it home, unboxed it and it was damaged. Took it back to Sams and they exchanged it. Brought the new one home, unboxed it, set it up in the garage (waiting 24 hours) to verify that it worked & it did. Stored in in the garage (unplugged) while a remodel was going on. Moved in into the basement and nothing... only the light comes one. Doesn't even try to get cold. Waste of time & money.
