Damaged when opened but working for now

Curbside pickup was great, however after we unloaded the freezer and removed it from the box, the freezer had damage on the bottom below the thermostat and on the other side. It appears that it was damaged by a forklift. We plugged the freezer in and seems to be working properly, hopefully the damage won't affect the life of the freezer. We have been looking for a freezer so we kept it, even with the damage, as we were concerned that another one would not be available.

It works!

It cools. It works. However, it is the cheapest piece of tin and plastic I've ever seen! There is no continual light indicating that it is running (like our GE or Whirpool). There is light that signals when the compressor is working. Since this is in the basement, and we don't ever see the light, we are hoping for the best.
