My father always stocked our restrooms with Scott 1000 rolls and I've carried on the tradition with my own family. I just love this product. I am so disappointed in the quality of the paper you are producing today! what happened to the original recipe. This stings and burns and itches like wiping with fiberglass! it has teeth on one side and piles up and rubs off on me. Where is the old toilet paper I came to love over the last 25 years?! I'll order cases of old stock if you have any so it lasts.

I have been a long time ( over 30 years) Scott brand consumer. I am disappointed because the texture has recently changed and the paper is thinner. I thought it was just the store I bought it from but when I bought it from 3 other stores I realize the brand as changed it. Why, why, why did y'all change it?? It wasn't broke!! The only reason why I have 2 stars because the toilet paper still last long. Go back to the previous texture, please!

So firstly, I am surprised by how affordable these are (after checking prices in my local grocery store). I’m used to seeing much higher prices, but these are significantly cheaper than some popular brands. Are these the softest toilet paper in the world? Nope, definitely not. However, what stands out to me is how long lasting a roll can go. In our house, we sometimes go through a roll of toilet paper in a few days or so, but with this, one roll has been going strong for more than a week now, and I think we may have another week left to finish the roll. That’s so much cost effective! If you’re looking for something that’s budget friendly but you’re not too picky about the softness of the paper, then I highly recommend the Scott Long Lasting!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They are OK. After using thicker toilet paper brands… It is really difficult to go back to this. It gets a job done, but you feel like you have to use more which makes you feel a little bit more wasteful. Not super durable but cheap.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had the opportunity to sample 'SCOTT 1000' toilet paper. I thought it was on the thin side but it seems to clean well. It did not tear and was gentle on skin. I think it's good value, lasts longer than the bargain 4 pack.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would not pick this Scott brand toilet paper to buy and use if I had other options. The tissue paper is way too thin and the feel of it is rough. I have to use way more than usual to feel like it gets the job done.

You might think other brands are cheaper, but you need to compare how long a roll lasts. I tried an experiment without informing my roommate. I put out two "soft" rolls in a row, and then 2 Scott 1000s in a row and just measured how long it took to use them up. The Scotts lasted about 5 times longer, even though we were doubling it up for usage because it is thinner. And it's plenty absorbent and soft.

It's very affordable, it lasts a long time (important in a large household), and it doesn't clog our drain. We have had an issue in the past with clogs when our younger kids have used too much with different brands. We haven't had that issue with Scott 1000.
