I have been purchasing Scott TP for years. My mother bought Scott TP throughout my childhood. I have never purchased anything but Scott TP. For the money it's by far the best buy. However lately I noticed that the paper itself is thinner and not as absorbent as it used to be. I found that I have to use more sheets than I used to. I understand environmental savings and concern for the septic system, however if you have to use more paper, exactly how is that a savings?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper left a lot to be desired. It is as thin as it could possible be. It deteriorated with any sort of moisture. It also leaves tiny pieces of paper behind on your bits. I would not recommend this toilet paper to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It’s okay, it’ll get the job done but you may need more than your used too! It’s thin so double up! Only plus thing is it’s great on the septic and more layers. It’s definitely not for me because I love comfort!

I will tell you the truth. It has been 20 years since I have last had my septic cleaned out. I was doing this my routine. I had no problems with my plumbing. The septic man asked why I called him, told him I have not had my septic cleaned in over 20 years. He told me, 'Not bad at all". So, I definitely know that i am using the right products. Have 4 people using that potty daily. Great job Scotts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Scott’s standard one ply toilet paper for years. I was happy to try Scott 1000. It is softer but still easy on the plumbing. I have tried other bulkier toilet papers and I’m always worry that it will clog. Not with Scott 1000. I will start buying this selection of Scott’s next time I’m shopping.

You may not have made any "recent" changes (not sure what that means?) but based on the number of people who took the time to go to your website to let you know we've found Scott 1000 to now be so thin as to be unacceptable to continue using (and most have been deliberately purchasing this product for DECADES...)... I would think you would want to look into why the product is so unacceptable now? Perhaps the changes arent what you consider to be "recent", but clearly there ARE changes or people like myself wouldnt be taking the time to look up your website and give you the heads up that we would LIKE your product if it continued as it had been.... Apparently you want everyone to buy the "extra soft bathroom tissue" that is mentioned in every reply--- I tried it briefly but was having to put a new roll on the dispenser almost every day, so went back to 1000, but it's too thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wish they'd make it atleast 2-ply as it kept breaking when I used it which was very upsetting and annoying! However, it does the job and is good for sensitive septic tanks. I just wish it didn't break so easily in my hand etc.

Product has a sustainability promise, and is made from paper fibers from responsibly managed forests. Additionally core and packaging are recyclable. Price point is aligned with competitors.

Quality is no longer the same. I will no longer purchase Scott Toilet Paper. The rolls I recently purchased are thin and see through, very rough nothing like the old Scott's Toilet Paper. That I have used for over 20 years. Why change a good thing? Bring back your old quality paper that everyone's used to.
