I have used your product for over 30 years. I stopped when your paper became to thin for use as needed. I have tried alot of other brands none are to my expectations. Bought a case of yours last week and am totally upset. A waste of my funds. Your rolls are so thin I have to use even more to keep myself what I consider clean in the hand.

I understand that the appeal is that there are 4000 sheets per roll but the toilet paper is so thin that you need to use twice as much as you would use of a thicker or more quilted version. I just couldn’t justify needing to buy twice as much of this brand as any other. The paper was thin, non-absorbent and all around not a good bang for your buck. I would not buy this again. #incentivized

I had to give one star in order to leave a review. That’s one star too many. We’ve been buying Scott for years due to cost efficiency, brand loyalty, and job security as I have many friends and family that work for the Kimberly Clark plant in Chester, PA. I can NO LONGER support this product. The quality has gone…well…down the toilet! This is NOT the Pre-pandemic Scott. The sheets are so thin they’re transparent. I don’t even think they are a full ply. 1/4 ply at best. You’re not saving money if you have to wrap it around your hand 5 or 6 times. It feels gritty and disintegrates on first contact with moisture. I used one roll out of 36 and have now switched to a big box retailer brand. At least I have lots of tissue paper for stuffing gifts at Christmas.

Scott 1000 isn't as cheap as commercial 2 ply, but it isn't as thick as it either. 1000 has a kind of fluffed paper texture, that while soft does not have the same strength as Scott Commercial Recycled 2 ply if you like using toilet paper to wipe up small messes. Where Scott 1000 excels is in softness, it is much less scratchy than the aforementioned line from the same brand, and instead of fiber grain Scott 1000 is a more affordable way to get the softness of higher dollar toilet paper. It's soft, absorbent, doesn't fall apart, etc. It is especially great because it's not too thick, so after children use too much, it won't clog the toilet/plumbing! We will definitely switch to this affordable and quality toilet paper.

I buy in bulk at Sams Club because we love this so much! Its the perfect softness and lasts as it has 1000 sheets per roll. With 5 people and a strict budget its perfect for us....oh and its easy on the spetic system too! Want bang for your buck and great quality buy Scott 1000.

I was happily surprised to discover we were still on the same roll. I also use it to wipe down the sink and mirror, and not having the little tiny streaks of paper show up was awesome.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was a kid my mom bought only Scott. I would tell her that when I was grown I was buying the soft fluffy stuff! She would explain that Scott was a better value because you use less of it. Of course I tried the fluffy stuff when I was grown and found out how right Mama was! I am 51 and can't remember a time when I didn't use Scott. I still haven't seen the tubeless tissue I keep getting coupons for though.
