I will say this is very cost effective, and it lasts a long time. It isn't soft and is only one ply. This is great for a utility type paper, but I go for something a little softer. It's under a dollar a roll and not much else comes close to that. I might use it as a backup, but will stick with my softer brand. 

I posted this review to Walgreens but wanted to post here to go directly to the company: I bought two twelve packs of this product online at Walgreens for $11.99 each. $24 down the toilet! This product is unusable. It is rough and scratchy and I am not sure I would even call it a full ply! I understand there is a crisis and there’s been a shortage but this product really is poor. Most rest areas have better quality toilet paper. I don’t usually buy this brand of toilet paper but due to limited supplies elsewhere, I decided to try it. I am not sure if the batch I got was defective or if this is really the quality it is supposed to be. I am assuming it is defective because it really is not good. I won’t be able to use it. I would donate it to a homeless shelter or something but I wouldn’t want to subject others to its use either.

We have used Scott's 1000 sheet toilet paper as far back as I can remember. I have never purchased any other ....UNTIL LATELY!!!! The paper is so uncomfortable to skin on my hand that I would NEVER place it elsewhere!! You've heard the old saying " If it isn't broke DON'T Fix it!!!" You will lose many customer's over this one! I seldom write reviews of products but felt compelled to do so !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The claims made on the packaging are pretty accurate. If you need long lasting, easy to flush toilet paper then this is for you! It’s on the softer side but not the softest I’ve ever used. It lasted me about a week and a half but that was with 2 people using it daily. I’m only giving this a 3/5 stars because it’s thin toilet paper hence why it’s easier to flush. I found I had to use double my normal amount because of how thin it is. And for that reason alone I can only give this a 3 star. If you don’t feel like you like thicker toilet paper then this works well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a single-ply tissue. You can see thru it. Made me use twice as much to equal what I use from 2-ply tissue. Didn’t clean very well either. Had to try 3-4 times to make sure my bottom was clean.

Scott is the only brand of toilet paper that i would buy , for many many years. Its just not the same anymore. Sometime the paper comes off in strips when you get to the end of the roll. The ones without the roll is a joke. I will never buy it again. Ive written to scott about the problems and never got a response. The extra soft clogs my toilet and the paper is gone in no time. Doesnt last long at all.Only bought extra soft once and never again.

After over 40 years, I am walking away from Scott. I have only used the 1000 sheet but paid attention recently and noticed they last nowhere chose to how they used to last. Sheets not only seem smaller but it's much thinner requiring you to use more. Totally disappointed.

I know. Toilet paper allergy. Pretty weird, but you'd be surprised how many people have it. The fact is, most paper products are loaded with chemicals. After struggling through several years of having to use organic cotton cloths and reacting badly (very badly) to every TP brand I tried, I finally found Scott! Relief! Now I can use toilet paper again. And no, this is not a spoof review. It's true. I've been using Scott for several years now without any problems, but if I ever have to use a friend's bathroom or one in the store, I break out in a painful rash again. This is the only brand of toilet paper I can use. Just this classic version, I'm afraid to try the softer version. I belong to a group on Facebook of other people with similar allergies and Scott is the one brand almost all of us are able to use. I don't know why. It must be more pure somehow, less chemical residues. I am thrilled to have found it. I don't have to carry little cotton cloths and ziplock baggies with me everywhere now (which was a real hassle) and that part of my life has returned to normal. Thank you, Scott, and please never stop making this. Some of us really need you!
