Scott Brand 1000 is the only toilet paper I have used in years. The last 4 pack I bought is much different. It is very thin and if there are tear lines they don't work when tearing a section off. The bar code # is 54000 10183 It has new printing on it claiming 4 rolls last 4 weeks. I live alone and this is not a true statement. I will be changing brands. Bad move Scott Brand!

Scott 1000 vs. 1100 sheets per roll toilet paper. You can see the difference. The “grain” of the newer (1100) is visible, but does not show well in a photo. What does show is that the texture is more visible on the old (1000) sheets. You can feel the difference. In the wrapping, the new rolls are hard, not soft. No “give” when squeezed either. The old rolls are softer. The new rolls are more difficult to start. Always end up tearing several layers off to get a roll started. While this was sometimes a challenge with the old rolls, it is always a problem with the new. Also, it is more difficult to find the next sheet when using the new rolls. We have used this product for decades. We were satisfied with the original product.

What's important to me is that it hasn't clog my toilet or caused backups in my septic system. I highly recommend this tissue is you want a tissue that is gentle on your septic system but still a good enough quality to keep things clean.

Like many other recent reviewers, I have only ever used this toilet paper; it's the only toilet paper that was used in my family so I've been using it for nearly 50 years. My most recent case of this toilet paper is not the same; not even close. It is much rougher and harsher and I do not care for it at all. What happened to the original formula for this product? Have ingredients been changed? You should really go back to what this product was before. This seems to be a very recent change.

Have purchased Scott toilet paper for 40 years and 7 children. You can keep saying the toilet paper has not changed but we are not buying it. The sheets are not only smaller but very thin. The rolls disappear so much faster. I was going to count the sheets but there may still be 1000 but it is 1000 sheets of poor quality toilet paper. Shame on you for trying to pass this off as the same quality product we have always counted on from what was once a great company.

I have used Scott brands most of my life, I'm 26 so it's not a very long time. However, if I go to a store and they are out of stock I will leave and go to the next one, because I do not settle for anything other than my Scott brand.. I just wanted to thank y'all for always having great products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It could very well be that I'm just used to 2 ply toilet paper, but Scott's 1000 was only OK for me. It did its job, however, I felt like I needed to used more each bathroom visit than I normally would. I can't see a roll lasting a week in large household with kids. But, I can see it working for a single person.
