Our family has been buying Scott tissue literally for about 4 decades. I been the only brand we have ever bought die it's strength and amount of sheets per roll. Recently I've noticed that the tissue has gotten so thin that it's actually almost transparent! Not only that, but somehow the paper in this last package we bought, is super rough and feel exactly like sand paper, this thin is so rough I can strip the paint off the side of my house! I wish Scott goes back to the way they used to make it, softer, strong and big roll! For now, after close to 40 yrs, I'm changing brands!

I'm 70 years old and allergic to most toilet tissues, so I have used only Scott tissue for as long as I can remember. What happened. I now have to use twice as much and I make sure I have anti bacterial soap because sometimes even using twice as much doesn't work. What did you change ? This is definitely not the toilet tissue I grew with ?? Please fix this problem. Thank you.

I have crohns disease so I look for a soft toilet paper and this is not it. It was rough and wasn't durable to withstand the wiping that needed to be done unless I used a lot. To me it's just not worth it

I had 3 males in the house and something about a man's psyche doesn't allow him to have the ability to change the roll when it gets empty. Thank GOD for 1000 sheet rolls from Scott! I no longer have to spend so much time changing rolls! TY Scott! Surprisingly its very soft and durable too! I am happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hate giving bad reviews but there is nothing I feel is good about this product. The tissue is extremely thin, 1 ply, and coarse. You have to use three times as much or it would be like using nothing. I would not buy this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After trying this toilet paper I will say that i was not a fan. Its very thin and feels as if it is 1-ply. If i were to base it off its value it would be OK. Packaging was fine too but overall i will rate this a 3/10. Its too thin for my liking.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper was great! It was a good value in terms of the number of sheets per roll and did not shred or pill upon use. It is important to use 1 ply toilet papers occasionally to give septic systems a break and this was just the ticket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] certainly more sheets last longer. however, 1 ply sheet is rather thin, i do not know how many ml's it is but certainly thin. had to use more sheets than with other brands because FINGERS TEND TO BREAK THROUGH when using. having to use more sheets than others makes me question if i getting more "uses" out of the roll. ply's seem thicker at the beginning of the roll as compared towards the end of the roll. i suspect this is just due to the pressure on the roll as it is put on . they absorb very well and certainly do the job at hand. the "breaking through" is the only problem and YES it is a problem. overall a good product for the cost and a good value

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scott’s basic toilet paper is simple but gets the job done. It’s not super soft, but it’s strong and lasts a long time since the rolls are big. It’s a good choice if you’re on a budget and don’t want to run out too fast. Nothing fancy, but reliable.
