I grew up with Scott, and I also buy Scott. The 1000 sheets last longer then the name brands that have way less sheets per roll. Even though I have to use more sheets of Scott then if I had bought Charmin or Angel Soft, Scotts still last longer per roll then theirs. Now if it were softer or thicker, that would be a great plus, and more people would buy it then, but they dont like how thin it is. I buy it for the value. I dont buy the Scott soft because there are only 850 sheets per roll...up it to 1000 like regular Scotts and I will buy that instead...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very effective and durable toilet paper that is septic safe. The roll is a nice size, the sheets are easy to tear off, and it lasts a long time. Even though the sheets are thin, they are super durable. I had no accidental rip through while using the toilet paper. This toilet paper isn’t the softest and is a little rough, so buyer beware if plush toilet paper is your go to.

It doesn’t fall apart easily, and you don’t need to use a ton of it, which makes it super efficient. Definitely one of the better options I’ve tried — soft on the skin but still strong. I think the scott 1000 toilet paper works good. I just wish it would be a little softer but other than that I think there is nothing wrong with this toilet paper. I would definitely recommend this kind of toilet paper everyone needs to give it a try.

Used Scott toilet paper my entire life. The last two packages something has changed. The paper is thinner and at times actually falls apart in my hand. I thought the first time I may have gotten a bad batch and gave it another try but the new package is just as bad. The toilet paper even looks different . I am so disappointed as I always swore my Scotts. No more!

I have been using Scott tissue for probably over 20 years. But I have noticed in this past year or two, quality seems to be thinner (didn't think it could be any thinner than it was) and the price is much higher. Another example of higher price and smaller amount. Coffee is another example...cans may look same as before but consumer is getting much less and paying much more. I will still continue using Scott tissue.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toilet paper’s poor absorbency and weak durability force you to use way more than necessary, completely undermining any sustainability for a month’s worth of toilet paper in four rolls. Cheap, rough, and packaged in excessive plastic. A disappointing product that’s neither eco-friendly nor practical.

The last 3 years this tissue has changed. When did it go from 2 ply to 1 ply? I've been using Scott tissue for decades since the 80s and it's always been 2 ply. Recently, I've noticed since buying a 30 pack of toilet paper- they are now 1 ply. If that's the case I'll buy HEB brand 1000 sheets which is cheaper and is also 1 ply. Thanks Scott for making this transition easier for me. Would mark this product a raring of 0 zero if I was allowed to.
