Great Flavor for Baby to EAT meat!

I like buying the large container of brown gravy. Last year these were always out of stock. Probably Covid issues. Saves us money cooking beef patties for baby over mashed potatoes or rice. This is the only way to get baby to eat meat is this brown gravy brand. And what kept mommy from puking pregnant so must be a fave of baby’s! Thank you for keeping this brand in stock part of end of last year and this year!

McCormick's Brown Gravy Mix is McGreat!!

I always bought the gravy mix previously sold at Sam's. Don't know if they are still in business or if McCormick bought them out. But McCormick is just as good. I don't just make gravy with it. I also add a few heaping 'iced tea' spoons disolved in water to my chili. It makes the chili gravy seem to have a litttle more body and makes the flavor of the chili excellent.

Loco Moco, Cottage Pie, and MORE

Making Beef Stroganoff, Cottage Pie, Beef and Broccoli? Okay, maybe not the Beef and Broccoli, but, if you are making a beef dish that requires a beefy slurry or a thickened beefy stock, this is the go to in my house. While making Cottage Pie one day I decided to try and up the game but without too much complications, this has become the ingredient. Sure, making the stock with a little condensed tomato paste, worcestershire, butter and flour is indeed a work of passion and love, but when you are spending a few hours in the kitchen to cook all of the other ingredients, a few corner cuts can indeed make a difference.

Favorite part of mashed potatoes and gravy

Our family always makes a big Sunday dinner. They love mashed potatoes and gravy. I never learned how to make a roux using drippings, but I learned how to fake it with McCormick gravy mix. When making chicken gravy I mix chicken gravy mix with the brown gravy mix adding 1-2 tablespoon(s) drippings and 1 tsp McCormick Italian seasoning, it tastes amazing! It's a Sunday favorite and the family gets excited when they see the potatoes boiling! Brown gravy is better when adding some drippings or juices to the mix. Another way we use it is with store bought precooked meatballs, make a few cups of gravy, place in a crockpot on low serve when meatballs are up to temperature.

Easy and so tasty

I like to make large roasts by just making up a bunch of this gravy, adding some pepper and celery salt, baby carrots and potatoes and cooking low and slow. Everything is tender and so flavorful. I take any leftovers and chop them up, add some diced tomatoes, peas and celery and have a hearty stew the next day.

none

I love mashed potatoes. It's my comfort food. When everyone else is snacking on chips and candy, I make mashed potatoes. At the dinner table I want gravy, but I'm not a great hand at making it. I tried the packets and loved it but there just wasn't enough, so I had to buy this. Now, there's gravy for everyone's potatoes and I can use it to season soups and stews too. The best part is, you can't beat the price.

The ratio is 3 tablespoons mix to 1 cup water.

The ratio is 3 tablespoons of mix to 1 cup water (or broth). Why didn't they print that in plain sight? It's the first question most people have. The only way you discover this info is by peeling the back label apart where it's hidden with some recipe ideas.

Good Gravy In An Instant

I have used this brand of gravy mix for a long time from individual packages. When I found this multi-serve container, I loved it and started buying it from Sam's Club. I guess it became so popular that both of the club stores in my area were always out of stock. I was so glad to find it on their website. Now I can always have good smooth gravy in an instant.

New must have!

I was debating whether I wanted to purchase this instant gravy mix or not. Not because it is an instant gravy or an unknown product to me. I hesitated because I didn’t know how much gravy it would make. To my surprise it makes a lot of gravy. I’m very pleased with it and highly recommend it.

Versatile product

I like to use this in the container because I can vary how much I use, based on the end product. I will add a little to a soup for some depth of flavor, or I can mix up as much as I want based on how many people I am feeding. I can mix it with a country gravy, or make it with milk, if I don't want as deep a flavor. We keep this on hand at all times.
