This Imitation Vanilla works very well in baking cookies. Cookies don't need real vanilla because of their baking for baked goods, imitation vanilla flavor will be fine. With cookies, it's almost impossible to taste the difference between the flavor of items prepared with imitation vanilla or pure vanilla extract.

I do a lot of baking and it seems like every recipe calls for vanilla. Since I bought this big bottle it is great not to be always running out.

It is fake vanilla, I understand made from the bark of some tree. Having said that I use it regularly, in my waffles and pancakes and even in my cold brew coffee. It works for me but it does not have the flavor intensity of the real stuff.

I make my own vanilla, but I always have a bottle of this on hand. Shipped beautifully. Top was double sealed to prevent leakage. this is a staple in my kitchen. Great price, too. For imitation vanilla, this is really good. Definitely recommend for your baking needs!

Vanilla has gotten very, very expensive. This is a great option for recipes where the vanilla is not the star component. Affordable and tasty.

It's not Real Vanilla, but this Imitation vanilla that McCormick sells is pretty good! I would buy it again.
