Purchased 3 of these for a total of 16. The plastic dispensers are defective. The tape will not feed through the slot. The plastic is preventing the tape from going through. It deems the entire package useless if you can't pull the tape through the dispenser.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from 3M to evaluate and want to thank them for the tape. I have used other 3M packing tapes and this is of the same quality as those. It is easy to use and strong enough to hold virtually any packing. I sealed boxes containing over 100 vinyl albums and this tape holds extremely well. Would recommend it for any packing requirements you may have. The dispenser makes the tape simple to use as it has a built-in cutter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. Scotch heavy Duty Packaging Tape seals seams with just one strip of tape- even on bulky surfaces. The tape is easy to dispense and apply. The dispenser cuts cleanly - a bonus! The other quality I like about this tape is that it is clear so it can easily be used over labels without fear of covering important shipping information. The strong adhesive quality of this tape along with the ease of dispensing and application make this an economical and reliable tape to use for packages.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M, and the company sent me a free sample of Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packaging Tape. The tape feels a bit thicker than other shipping/packging tapes I have used. It was easier to start the roll than any other I have used also, that part is usually a pain. I closed up a box about a week ago for storage in my garage and so far a week later it seems to be holding well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping tape to mail a box. At first I didn't think the tape itself felt sticky enough to adhere properly to the box but after applying it I realized it was indeed sticky enough and would hold fast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently had to ship a box and this tape was great. It rolled effortlessly off the roll and it was easy to cut with the attached blade. The tape itself is of very great quality and seems very sturdy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the only kind of packing tape to use! Other kinds get wadded when you try to take them off the roll, etc. This tape always goes where you put it and stays there!! It is very durable and usually takes only one strip!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is super grippy. It is easy to tear from the roll. I used this to reinforce a cardboard box filled with heavy books for shipping. This is definitely universal on any surface. Very easy to handle.
