I purchased this product to hang a Christmas decoration on the wall.. It held fine, but when I went to remove the command strips today 1/1/24 it damaged my wall!! I pulled the tape to remove the strip, and the tape broke.. then it took the paint off my wall!! I'm so angry

Posed with the problem of how to hang 26 stockings on one mantle I found these as a solution. Fifteen lbs. of candy, 78 lottery tickets, and tons of do-dads were no match for these amazing hooks. After, I repurposed them to hang Christmas wreaths and garland at the ten outside windows. Since 2002 the hooks have held steadfast through 95 degrees to 35 below! Am I happy? I guess so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a fiberglass tub surround and there was no where to put wash clothes or scrubbies when finished. I bought these and attached them to the surround and they have been working great ever since. Highly recommend these products.

I bought a number of hooks and strips about one month ago. After hanging a cutting board off one in my kitchen (no problems there), I decided it was time to rearrange some things. It took some serious effort to get the hook and once it finally came off, so did two layers of paint. While it does its job well of holding things up, the paint tear issue defeats the purpose of not damaging the walls...

Be aware, these hooks do not always hold and they break under less weight than stated, at least they have/have not for me, with several trys (to make sure I was following the instructions on the back of the package)! And below there is a opportunity to enter a sweepstakes, don't bother, it ended in 2012.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought the value pack so I could hang them in my 5 year old's room at an appropriate height for him to put his coats, sweatshirts, backpacks, etc. on. They've been tolerating his rough usage for over a year now and are still holding up! No wall damage even though he hangs on them more than he should. Will definitely be using more of these around the house in the future.
