They will not stay on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that these can be used for so many uses. We have them for hat hooks, to hang umbrellas in the hall closet, hang hair ties on in the bathroom, and more. Though I have had mostly good results, I have also had some not stay well on the wall. If they are holding weight close to capacity sometimes they don't hold well. Otherwise they have been very useful and great for keeping walls from damage.

This is a nice product. Bought few and used it in the bathroom. Works good it holding and weight. I had it stuck on the wall. While moving tried to take them off as per instructions. got half of them taken off clean but couldn't get them off clean on a couple of them. Overall will sure worth the money.

I bought this the other day because we just moved into a small house that is made entirely of cinder block. I read that the hooks work on painted cinder block, and our kitchen is small so I bought the value pack to hold all my odd and ends things like spatulas, measuring cups, etc. I put in on last night followed the instructions and waited an hour, Put a very light Strainer on there and we were awaken by a clatter of the strainer falling off hitting all of our pots and pans. So we put in back on and waited. Well this morning it fell again so we just have the command hooks on our wall now not knowing what to do with them?? I also tried to hang my much lighter measuring cup set on a hook just to see since it was not as heavy as the strainer, it still fell off. It's not humid in the house, plus I live in South Texas so there is little humidity, and I followed the instructions. So what now?? Do you have any heavy duty hooks that will hold and cling to painted cinder block?? I also bought the picture hanging strips which I have used before but I am worried they won't work either??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 2001 my siblings, their families, and my parents all came home to N.Y. for one last family Christmas. Posed with the problem of how to hang 26 stockings on one mantle I found these as a solution. Fifteen lbs. of candy, 78 lottery tickets, and tons of do-dads were no match for these amazing hooks. After, I repurposed them to hang Christmas wreaths and garland at the ten outside windows. Since 2002 the hooks have held steadfast through 95 degrees to 35 below! Am I happy? I guess so.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a basket that is flat on the back and I needed a way to hang it in my bathroom. This hook worked perfectly, looks good, and holds the weight promised - and I tested that! In a hot, humid climate and not a problem with it holding.

I bought this for the back of a bathroom door. I have used these before and they were fine, but with this set, the hooks wouldn't stay on the backing and they popped off every time I took my bathrobe off the hook. They must be defective. I put them on correctly. This is very annoying and a waste of money.

I used this hook to hang a small plastic Christmas sign in my living room. Took down the hook after it was up for about 3 weeks and it ripped not only the paint off the wall but also into the dry wall. Now I have a big circle the size of a bagel that I have to fix!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I USED MY DESIGNER HANGERS TO PUT UP CURTAINS ON MY BACK DOOR AND LIVING ROOM.THEY HOLD A SMALL DIAMETER CURTAIN ROD JUST RIGHT. THEY'RE DOING THEY JOB AND NO HOLES IN THE WALLS. WITH THE HOLIDAYS NOW I ALWAYS FIND SOME ORNAMENTS THAT I WANT TO SHOW OFF SO THE HOOKS ALLOW ME TO DISPLAY THEM ANYWHERE.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love these hooks! I use a ton of them at Christmas time to hang decorations on my front and side doors. My favorite use for them is to hang my Christmas Stocking holders which are about two feet wide. And of course old Saint Nick has to be hung in the living room. When it's time to take everything down and put away the command sticky strips are so easy to remove and the best thing of all is no holes in the walls from.
