We used it to make a chicken stew and it was fabulous. It’s extremely versatile and definitely comes in handy for a variety of recipes. I keep about 2-3 backups at all times because it’s that necessary! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swanson products are always good and always consistent—this one is no exception. The taste is delicious and it’s super convenient to use. My one and only complaint is the way the carton reseals. If tampered with pre-purchase, it could be hard to tell. When you twist the lid, the inner foil seal is punctured. In theory, it’s a fantastic idea but in practice it’s not my favorite.

One small concern is the sodium content, which comes in at a whopping 37% per serving. Other than the sodium, Swanson chicken broth makes an incredible addition to any recipe. So delicious!!

The price is always  comparable to the other brands. The shelf life it has can be kept for awhile if you don’t use it all at once.

I made sancocho and added the chicken broth to see the final taste and it was a hit. My husband is suffering from high blood pressure and I been buying products lower in sodium. This broth is 33% less sodium so it’s perfect for us as we want to improve our eating habits with a healthier option of foods. Also is 100% natural. The packaging is very convenient and there is a lot of recipes that can be done with this broth I just checked that. I recommend trying and we would continue buying.
