I even use it to boil my noodles in a lot to give them more flavor than using just water. I am going to be making some crockpot chicken and dumplings with this now!! Woo!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Love Swanson's chicken broth I use it whenever possible. Chicken dishes, rice, mash potatoes or to add more flavor to any meal. The broth container is very convenient especially when you don't plan on using the whole thing, I can refrigerate it and use it a couple days later for another meal.

I have always wanted to try the low sodium one but was to afraid it was going to change the taste. but im here to say it is still delicious, I would highly recomend trying it if you have not (at least get a small can to see if you like it lol).

Nothing beats my home made chicken stock or broth, made in my crockpot. However - this is a really good stand in, if I don’t have any. I wish it was a little stronger flavored, but it’s a minor thing. The Swanson Chicken Broth has nice flavor and isn’t salty! You don’t need unseen salt being added where you aren’t expecting it. Horraay! Which to me is important because most store bought stuff is either too sweet or too salty, in my opinion. Swanson’s has a nice golden bronze color and works well as a water replacement (or enhancer) in recipes- I use it most commonly when I make rice. But I also use for sauces and such things- I use it instead of water wherever I can, because it brings more flavor to your dishes.
