I’ve used many brands and types of broths and stocks before in my cooking but I can honestly say that I had never tried Swanson’s double stock, which is a richer chicken flavor that is made from real chicken and actually simmered for 12 hours. We decided to make up a batch of easy chicken and dumplings with our gift and the flavor was amazing and just perfect! I really appreciate that Swanson’s broth is 100% natural using all natural ingredients, with no msg or preservatives, gluten free, or artificial ingredients, and it is also non-GMO which are things my husband and are really try to aware of. The carton package made it convenient to use and the twist off cap made it easy to pour and store leftovers in the fridge. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swanson is one of the OG broth brands and it’s a great product! Good rich flavor, easy-to-use packaging, and I love that it’s all natural! I’ll be honest, I won’t switch to this product as a staple in my house, but mostly because I have a very small pantry and don’t have the space to store multiple boxes of this to have on hand when I need it. I keep a jar of Better Than Boullion around for that since it takes up minimal space. If Swanson were to introduce a similar product, I could be convinced to switch!

Tastes delicious on its own! Use instead of water when making rice for a delicious side (or base), or on a cold day, drink on its own. It has a nice balance of salt and flavor with neither being too overpowering. It's definitely something that, when I have it, tastes like "home".
