You can use it pretty much everywhere, making soups, sauces, cooking potatoes in… really anything that you want to add a little extra flavor without adding a ton of salt. Making your own chicken stock I will agree is better, but it just takes so much time that most of us don't have in our day. One thing I do wish is that this came in came in a smaller portion size. I understand that it's it's easy to pour and keep in the fridge come up but you're supposed to use it within a few days, and I might not have anything planned in the next few days to use it all up. And yes I know that it also comes in cans but still I would like to have smaller serving options

However, this works great as a quick fix when I don’t have time to make my own. It’s a little more expensive than other brands and I’m not sure it’s worth the extra $$. The resealable box is also nice for storing any product that is left over in the refrigerator.

I thought the broth had decent flavor as a starting point for my chicken soup. it features no msg or gmo. lastly, it is a double stock for a richer flavor. great product that I would buy to use again.

I love using Swanson’s broths to add flavors to a variety of dishes such as soups, chicken, noodles, basting, etc. I prefer using the lower sodium varieties because I don’t like to use a lot of extra added salt in my diet and it still adds enough flavor to my dishes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use broth in my cooking often. I usually make my own broth which takes a while. I like to use broth in bases for gravies but mainly in soups. This soup is chicken, rice onion and bell pepper with rosemary and sage. Chicken broth gives the soup a stronger taste. If I want to drink water, I’ll pour a glass. I love making my own broth but this tastes just as good and was way faster. Definitely would recommend.
