I got this as part of a voxbox to try and used it in a dish to add some additional flavor. It’s a great way to add flavor instead of using water in soups. The Swanson one is pretty classic and a great addition to the kitchen.

It's thick and delicious without being overly salty and not too watery. it can be used in literally hundreds of recipes and probably more or if you're feeling under the weather you could heat it up by itself for a quick soup pick me up if you really wanted. Normally I'd state an improvement for the product in the review but I don't think this product can improve, it's just that good.

It was wonderful as the broth in my homemade chicken n dumplins. I'll definitely be switching to this brand and reduced sodium in the future!

Instead of using water, I use broth instead to give my dinner much more flavor. This Swanson's broth has become a staple in my home. I literally use it for stews, soups, casseroles, you name it. I even it use it as a base in my rice for additional flavor. The fact that it has less sodium but still tastes great is an added bonus. I make many soups. Homemade chicken noodle quite often. I love adding flavor in my rice with a broth. Whether fried rice or boiled/steamed. Swanson is definitely the way to go. No other brand gives such flavor. My secret to making my own stock is using Swanson broth to cook my bone-in chicken. Enjoy

I add it to rice, chicken dishes, soups, vegetable sautés and so much more. I highly recommend this brand as the ingredients are simple! The salt content is very high and I may buy reduced sodium next but the flavor it fantastic and I can’t complain otherwise.
