We are definitely a fan of the flavor, it isn’t too salty or anything like that, tastes like chicken for sure, was happy to receive the box to try because we already knew it is a product that will be useful for us in the kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am generally a fan of making my own bone broth, but in a pinch, when you run out of your own, sometimes you just need to get some premade stock. I used @swansonbroths 33% less sodium chicken broth to make this amazing pesto quinoa! I used the broth in place of water to cook the quinoa, which really helped to season and flavor the quinoa.. Once cooked, I mixed in a heaping tablespoon of my husband's homemade carrot top & cashew pesto. Delicious! It was super easy to use as a swap for water. We all enjoyed the flavor it added to the quinoa. I will still continue to make my own stock, but will definitely purchase this on a rare occasion between my own batches.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not going to lie….i was, well, probably about as excited as one gets about a free tub of “broth.” But i had an open mind! Sadly, as i prepared to cook the item that held so much promise- i was flooded with the scent of CAT FOOD. Bleh. That’s what it smelled like….and for me, once i connect a smell to a food - it’s game over. On top of that, I’ll admit, i had no additional ingredients - and kept waiting for them to pour out of that tiny soup hole (not sure how that was going to work out - some sort of Mary Poppins magic?) but boy was it sad when the last drop of cat food soup emptied and that’s all i was left with. 5 star disappointment for sure! Hope others had better luck, and I’ll definitely do a better job reading the instructions prior to opening anything next time!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Swanson Chicken broth is a great pantry ingredient to have on hand. I made a version of an Italian Minestrone soup that was delicious! This affordable broth can be used in so many recipes! I recommend keeping some on hand in your pantry for that extra flavor! I would I’ve to leave a photo of my soup, but this app isn’t allowing me to access all of my photos.
