Compared to other low sodium broths I’ve used this one still had flavor and very good. I used it to make chicken caldo for my family and everyone loved it! It’s not expensive and I will definitely be buying again!!

Adding quality broth and stocks to your homemade sauces, soups and stews really helps give the food the flavor it needs. AND using a store bought broth is soooo much easier than making your own. I used this in my homemade tortilla soup and it was delicious — as always! Don’t skimp on the broth people!

I love using chicken/beef/vegetable broth for cooking. A little technique I learned from a member of my favorite music group is using broth in place of oil when cooking, and Swanson's is perfect for that. The chicken broth, which is what I received, makes my homemade soups so much more flavorful. It's also great to add to fresh veggies to keep them moist. Perfect addition when cooking rice, for extra flavor. When I purchase this in the store, I always go for the salt-free version, preferring to add my own level of salt. I always turn to Swanson chicken broth because it’s easy to find and very affordable. I don’t have time to make my own chicken broth so this is my go to.

But it's also great to use instead of water for things like making rice or green beans. So flavorful and yummy. Also good just to drink for my POTS illness which means I have to have more salt to feel better.

I would say it’s the best option besides TJ’s veggie and chicken broth as it doesn’t have any GMOs or MSG for those that have dietary restrictions/allergies!
