We are definitely a fan of the flavor, it isn’t too salty or anything like that, tastes like chicken for sure, was happy to receive the box to try because we already knew it is a product that will be useful for us in the kitchen!

One of my favorite things to do when cooking is making a large batch of shredded chicken in the slow cooker. The trick is cooking it using chicken broth. I absolutely love this chicken broth since it adds the right amount of flavor without the extra salt. Even better that it is quick and easy enough for my husband to do when we are busy.

I will continue to purchase Swanson in the future I made Gumbo and added Swanson chicken and my own seafood stock and it was amazing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used broth before as an adding agent when my diabetic dog was sick and I was making homemade food. I used chicken, brown rice, green beans, and chicken broth. That dog had since passed away and I didn’t buy any broth for awhile. However, my new pup was not feeling well and had to be given medication to be eaten in powder form w her food. Problem was she didn’t sit down and eat a bunch of food, or I was afraid my cats would get the food w the medicine. I was able to use a bit of chicken broth, along w a little water, mix in the medicine and add a little wet dog food and had no issues giving my dog her medicine and her eating it all right away. This is probably not the typical manner in which one uses this product but for pets I highly recommend trying it if you need to give them a medication they don’t like. With the remainder of the broth, I put it with a little water and made chicken broth ice cubes…my dog absolutely loves them!!
