The Original Spam has been in my family for decades and is perfect anytime of the day. As a child, I remember having it with breakfast and how perfect it was in a sandwich for lunch. The flavors blend perfectly to give you a boost in the morning and hold you out for lunch. At lunch, instead of a BLT try a SLT, spam lettuce and tomato. Brown both sides of a appropriately sized slice of spam, layer it with lettuce and fresh tomatoes and a little mayonnaise and you are set for the rest of the day. Finally for dinner, dice spam into small pieces and mix it up with a pot of beans. Let it cook and simmer and you have a hearty meal that will satisfy the biggest appetite.

I have eaten spam for a very long time! It may be salty but it adds a special spice to every meal and it cuts the sodium. I don't have to worry about high blood pressure, even with as much Spam I eat. I keep my blood pressure down by diet. My mom made us 9 kids what she called "Pizza Burgers".Why pizza burgers I have no clue but that's what we still call them.1 can of spam and 1 lb Velvetta.Put in the silver bowl and have a child or 2 chop with the round silver chopper thing.When chopped in pieces put a spoonful on a hamburger bun (open face style).Place them on a cookie sheet under the broiler.They are done when cheese is melted and Spam is sparkely hot.These are the best things ever.We have even had them for Xmas eve.I like Spam right out of the can too.

I've been eating Spam since I was a kid at my grandma's house. My grandparents always cooked it and I discovered early on that macaroni and cheese goes amazing with Spam. Using two slices of white bread, generously spread softened butter on them. Place two thick slices of SPAM side by side on one slice. Carefully lay crunchy potato chips on top of the SPAM.
