We have used this product for many years, and while it is still our preferred taste, we have noticed in the last couple of years that we have to put about twice as much in our coffee than we used to. Seems like an intentional recipe change so people have to buy more 😒 The price at the grocery store has also increased significantly. If I could find another product that would give the same flavor, I would switch because I can barely afford it anymore.

I absolutely hate flavoured coffee and now coffeemate taste like French vanilla, my husband noticed it as well. We especially love the fact that it was gluten-free because our second youngest daughter has celiac I can't buy it anymore if this is the new flavour.. what happened?!

I have been using rich & creamy coffee mate since before I wasn't old enough to drink coffee plus we put it in hot tea as well. I have noticed the recipe has changed over the years...I went from using 1.5 tsps of creamer in my mug of coffee to now for same flavor & appearance I'm using 3tbsps in the exact same mug. The original coffee mate really was rich, creamy & flavorful which I truly miss. The new recipe doesn't compare in flavor nor appearance. I still prefer original flavor coffeemate to any other brand but I truly wish your company would go back to the original creamy recipe from 30 -40 years ago, heck even 10 years ago.

Cant tell you how disappointed my husband and I are about the change in the taste. i agree that it has a chemical after-taste of hazelnut...its gross. I'm offended that they admit to changing the formula yet still have the audacity to rebrand it as "The Original". Bring back the true original formula.

Coffee-mate has an amazing taste that brings out the best in a cup of coffee. I have tried several different brands of coffee creamer and coffee-mate is by far the best. Coffee-mate gives ur cup of coffee a creamy natural taste with a hint of sweetness. It never has a powdery taste that I have found other brands to have.

The first time, I thought my husband had made hazelnut coffee because my mom was visiting and loves it. On day 2, she asked him and he said no and that Coffee Mate had changed the formula. He went out and bought cream. Maybe CM is trying to make us healthier by making us switch to something else, lol. I knew it wasn't good for me but loved the taste. Now, I'll be using cream.

I've drank coffee w her powdered coffee mate, many times. I'm not sure if the product formula is changed, but maybe the packaging. It tastes "chemically"/"plasticy". One reviewer said his is drying up into dried out cakes in the container. If the formula hasn't changed-have the distributors changed that you get your ingredients from? That is a significant taste difference. The texture isn't right, either. If you order from a place that changed THEIR distributors, it can significantly change the taste & texture. I'm not Nestle, but if I were, I'd do some serious search into this. All of these people LOVED Coffee mate. They're not saying they're first time users. I'm not a first time user. Neither is my mother-in-law. It's a SIGNIFICANT TASTE DIFFERENCE.

I too used to use it on a daily basis, I have diabetes and Anything with Casin in it makes my phlegm levels get bad, I started using A2 milk to drink cause it does not make my phlegm go crazy, this coffee creamer does but so very little, please make one somehow with out a sweetner...

I've been purchasing coffemate powder forever. Recently I purchased a tub with an Original tag on it. When opening it I could smell vanilla, and when in my coffee I could taste it. I thought they made a mistake by labeling in the wrong powder. I threw it out, a real waste of money, because a premium brand is not cheap. So I purchased another one, original tag but same result Vanilla taste... again waste of money. I don't know if this a quality control issue, or some sort of marketing ploy.., but I'm not purchasing another tub again, I'd rather purchase a cheaper generic brand at least theirs taste closer to coffemate's Original taste the what Nestlé is peddling now. One star because I can't select no star.

I have been drinking this for years and now the formula is gritty, tastes like baking soda with a chemical hazelnut flavor. It used to be creamy and slightly sweet but now it's awful, doesn't blend in my coffee and leaves a slimy, oily scum layer on the inside of my cup that won't even come out in the dishwasher unless I pre-scrub it. I have noticed this the last few containers and it's so disgusting I started using oat milk instead. I would give 0 stars if I could.
